We had a truly wonderful time (and meal!) in this lovely setting. Service was impeccable ~ water glasses were constantly being refilled, and chips and salsa were replenished as well. Yes, it is pricey - $9.95 for a plate-sized portion children's meal! But, the tortilla soup I ordered was some of the freshest I've tasted in a few years, and I'm a big tortilla soup aficionado!!

They did make my daughter feel extra-special as we celebrated her birthday - song, hat, ice cream - and to top it all off, a souvenir photo!!!

As a vacation splurge, we would definitely visit Pancho's again . . .yummy chips, yummy salsa, and happy, attentive service!!

We arranged a surprise birthday party, they were very helpful and made it quite fun. The food is delicious and they have a varied menu to choose from. They also have many special events in the bar area although we did not attend any.

I have been coming to Pancho's for years and have never been disappointed. Great service and fresh food. Can be pricey, but to be expected in Manhattan Beach.

Our family had been coming here for 30 years. Kids love it. Out of town guests enjoy it, and it is wonderfully festive at Christmas time. So festive that we always take family and friends to Pancho's during the holidays. The food is standard California Mexican, the marguerites are fabulous, and the wait staff is marvelous. It is also always a happy place to be because not only are people smiling over their marguerites, someone is bound to be celebrating a birthday. Best place to be seated, in my opinion, is downstairs which abounds with gorgeous hanging plants, all flourishing and absolutely real, reminiscent of my favorite restaurant in Merida.

Bit of trivia: back in the 60's this was a Chinese restaurant. Same name: " Pancho's" and the greeting at the top of the menu was " Saludos amigos"but the menu was entirely Chinese food. In the late 70's the building was renovated and a truly Mexican restaurant was established.

if you want great entertainment, go to Panchos on a Friday or Saturday. The band is amazing! if you want mexican food, eat across the street at El Tarasco, have your drinks at Fish Bar or OBs and then head over to Panchos for one drink and to listen to the band. Their beer is $9 and the prices on drinks go up from there! The food isn't as great as you would think at that price point and the valet manager is extremely rude....but this place is saved by the band!
