My husband and I recently spent 3 nights at Meadow Creek Ranch while visiting the Yosemite area as part of a vacation to northern CA. Over the course of 11 days we stayed at 4 different places in 4 different towns, but Meadow Creek was hands down our favorite. The accomodations were cozy, intimate, comfortable, clean, and very peaceful. We stayed in the 'chicken coop' which is its own little building, and it felt like a pampered home away from home. Comfortable bed, enough space for all our luggage and gear, and a wonderful claw foot tub that was great to soak in after a day of hiking (the room also has a standing shower). Although we used the AC more than the fireplace that was in the room, both are available. The breakfast was certainly a highlight--fresh fruit, wonderful coffee from a roastery down the road, muffins or breads, and a scrumptious main course (with seconds!). The owners are friendly and very knowledgeable about local history and the surrounding area, and we appreciated them taking the time to chat with us during breakfast. The inn is on a beautiful piece of property. It was a wonderful stay, and we would certainly stay there again if we were in the area.
