“great stay”
Reviewed 1 September 2009

We stayed in the garden room with husband and son for 2 nights in august, had a lovely room with nice little touches like chocolates each night.
Great breakfasts - we all really loved the muffins.
Really peaceful spot and had no problems with traffic into Yosemite.

My husband and I were celebrating our 1st anniversary and we decided to visit Yosemite. I found Meadow Creek Ranch B&B on tripadvisor and decided to book it. WOW, were we ever impressed! Willy and Diana are very kind people. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The breakfasts are FANTASTIC! They make delicious and healthy breakfasts with a lot of fruit. I am a huge coffee fan and the Mariposa coffee is some of the best I've ever had! We stayed in the chicken coop and loved the decor and privacy. The grounds are very beautiful and we enjoyed being away from LA. The location is serene, but just know it is a bit of a drive to Yosemite. We left by 8:30 every morning and we had no issues with traffic at all.

They have also have a library which was really neat. I found many books that were of interest to me. My husband loves cars and they had many books and magazines that he found interesting. In your room they provide a deck of cards and a puzzle which was fun. We played cards one night and I finished the puzzle. I love puzzles!

Their cats are adorable and super sweet. Say hello to April and May for us!

We had a romantic and lovely anniversary. I highly recommend you staying here. You will not regret it! We will definitely be back!

My husband stayed here for three days on our honeymoon while visiting Yosemite. The inn is very nice, and the breakfasts are great. We stayed in the chicken coop room, and it was very comfortable, clean, and charming. The only fault I can find is with the location. It is quite far from Yosemite. The owner's estimate was about an hour, which I'm sure is quite accurate for him, but for our inexperienced mountain driving skills, it took closer to one and a half hours each way each day to the park entrance. Mariposa is very cute, but everything shuts down so early, that if you want dinner, you have to leave Yosemite so early (no sunset!). The inn itself is perfect, but the location is just a little too out of the way for night owls like us.

We had three lovely nights stay at Meadow Creek. We stayed in the Garden Room which was cosy and comfortable. The grounds were spacious and beautiful, and the area itself very quiet, and convenient for Yosemite. Willie, our host, was very good company and did us proud with the breakfasts. Although the co-owner Diane had to be away on a family emergency, that did not at all interfere with how well we were looked after. I can certainly recopmmend this highly.

From the first greeting at the door until we said goodbye, we had a wonderful experience at Meadow Creek Ranch. The hosts are terrific and they have created a warm, welcoming, comfortable place to stay. We wish we could have stayed longer and plan to return in the future.

Country B&Bs dont get any better than this. A wonderful cosy room (the chicken coop), charming & helpful hosts and delicious healthy breakfasts. Add to this a lovely quiet setting, an historic house and good access to the park and its just perfect. Many thanks to Diane & Willie for making our four day stay so enjoyable.

We had a most enjoyable stay here,. The chicken coop was really delightful, and we loved the bath. Breakfast was good,. and Willy and Diane very helpful. The Turkeys and the Deer all added to the experience, and over all we felt rather spoilt to stay in such a lovely place.
