The Yosemite Nights B&B is quite an experience for city people used to luxury B&B's. Finding it is a challenge - it's really on an unpaved road set away from everything else. Our room was not in the house and it was spacious and modern. The walls are a little think - you can hear conversations from other guests. Helen and Monty are wonderful hosts with many suggestions for visiting Yosemite. Breakfast is at 7:30 each day! No sleeping in at this place but since you have to drive almost an hour to get to Yosemite from there, Helen wants to be sure her guests can arrive before the major traffic starts. It feels like staying at your relatives house - other guests were from around the globe as well as the US. If you like the quiet of the countryside and seeing birds, deer, goats and foxes, this is the place for you. We slept like babies every night. Just keep in mind that you are about 5 miles from town and must take winding dirt roads to reach their home. Many good restaurants in Mariposa but I wouldn't advise having a few drinks and then attempting the drive home!
