Stayed here 2 nights. Clean room, 2 queen beds. Hiked all day in Yosemite, 45 minutes from Mariposa. $70 a night. Breakfast was a tad barren. Overall, very good place to experience Yosemite if you are not staying in the Park.

We stayed in the Comfort Inn for 3 nights in mid September and thought it was a pleasant enough place. The hotel looks better from the outside than the rooms are inside. Saying that though, they were clean and we spent so little time in them as we were in Yosemite that we didn't notice really. The hotel location is excellent as you can walk into Mariposa in less the 5 mins. The staff were helpful but you got the feeling they were not that interested in you.

Mariposa itself was a surprise as you are expecting re-necks to want to chase you out of town. It was in fact the complete opposite. People were friendly and helpful. If you’re from the UK and get the chance, do try out the Pizza Factory Restaurant in Mariposa. It’s an experience not to be missed.

Stopped at this Comfort Inn on the way out of Yosemite, but should have kept going to Merced for some cheaper and cleaner motels to bed down for the night.
First room was terrible - stank of damp and was dirty, so got it changed for another by the front desk with no arguments (think they were trying it on with this room). This new one was in a little 'house' shared with other guests. But the walls were paper thin, and the room smelt of curry. Heard every conversation, and woken up at 6am with rendition of New York, New York by the neighbours !
Also, there was a 'disclaimer' about it being the ant seaon , so no refunds for infestations. Plus a long warning about security which left me sleeping with one eye open and not getting much rest.
Breakfast was OK though, saved me having to stop elsewhere.

we stayed one night on the way to yosemite and the place was fine. the outside looks nice and our room was in decent shape. we were given the room at the end of corridor which i had requested when making the reservation. the sheets were not ironed, but that was the case with most motels i stayed in during this trip. prices are high during summer which may lead to high expectations. staying here out of season probably gives fairer value for money. compared with the other motels i saw in mariposa, i would probably stay in this one again.

We stayd one night in this hotel in the small bud beautifull town of Mariposa in a overwelming nature, close to Yosemite, ( one hour to the south entrance) We had 3 rooms and the rooms are small, bud clean. Breakfast is average bud okay.Pool and Spa are nice. Hotelprice is a bid high bud the hotel is worth it, it's cheaper than the lowbudget hotels in Oakhurst.
So overall a good place for a night.

We had two rooms for one night before visiting Yosemite the next morning. We did not have any problem with ants. The look and feel of the rooms, however, could be improved by some sort of decoration on the wall you face once you enter the room. As it is, it is just a blank wall to stare at. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. The breakfast looked meager and went to Burger King instead. We went for dinner to the Red Fox, or something similar to that, and were very pleased with the service and meals. The town closes up early.
