Price, quality location are in line to what we as family of 4 expected, breakfast was very acceptable to what we experienced in the 10 other hotels/cities we have visited during our recent finshed trip. Nice clean pool for the kids,, Staff was friendly.
Mariposa a nice small town with a few nice restaurants (Charles Street dinner) and a big supermarket.

the location is very nice but the staff unsmiling and unwelcoming.
the air conditioning was so loud that we had to sleep there cut and have very hot.
In addition, there was the old furniture in the parking lot, which broke the charm of the place.
damage ....

Stayed here last year for 4 nights so opted for the same again. This year we had a superb room. Really light, upstairs, in the main block, with views across the town.
Breakfasts really good especially at 6am. Last day we did arrive later and it was busy but just meant that we ate outside which was nice.
Our room was huge, clean, with great shower. Complete with fridge & microwave. Air conditioning was really efficient. In fact, having an even better room made our vacation in Yosemite!! Thank you!

Room Tip: We had room 201. Top of stairs, store cupboard next door so quiet. The view overlooked the town & valley. Superb air conditioning unit. Room really light. Comfortable beds. Great room to chill out in after day hiking in Yosemite

This motel is quite close to the Yosemite National Park, so it suffers from the inevitably high prices that are typical of the area: we paid $206 per night for a perfectly average room. That said, I must praise the quality of the mattresses, that felt brand new and gave us the best night's sleep of our entire vacation. Also very nice pool area, with spa. The staff was reasonably friendly. Breakfast was of average to good quality, but the buffet - as well as the entire motel - was very crowded. No WiFi available in rooms, only in the pool area and in the lobby. The fan in the bathroom was very noisy, perhaps in need of replacement. The scrub soap and shampoo provided were very good.
Overall, a positive experience, since I value most of all the quality of my sleep, during my stays in a hotel.

we booked the miners inn for two nights while traveling to Yosemite only because this was the only place that had a vacancy. The place turned out to be a little gem. we stayed in a double room, beds were nice and big, room was clean, breakfast was included and was good value! the motel also has a nice pool area. Drive to Yosemite entrance is about 45 minutes only this is this is not an easy road to drive at night, it is very dark and tangled road so if you a problem driving at dark make sure you leave on time. the inn area was also very nice, Mariposa is a cozy little town but has everything you need in it such as places to eat, gas station and a pharmacy. Overall we had a great stay location, service and room.
