Booked this last minute due to the recent US government shutdown, good priced room at around $80.

On arrival at around 1130am we were able to check in which was a nice and the lady who checked us in as very polite and friendly.

On entering the room we were pleasantly suprised at the size of it, there was more than enough room for our luggage and still enough room to walk past the bed without banging shins and knees!
The bathroom was clean and of a good size with a seperate sink area just outside the bathroom.
We had 2 double beds but both were of a very good size so my wife and i had one each, a rare treat!!:-)

The hotel was around a 45 minute drive to the main entrance of Yosemite but it was a great scenic drive to and from the hotel so we did not mind this at all.

Due to the amount of walking etc we had done that day we did not want to venture too far from the hotel for some food, we decided to eat at the restaurant situated in the hotel's car park, the food was pretty good. I had lamb shank with potatoes and veg and my wife had the fried chicken and veg. Would recommend the lamb!

All in all a good stay within easy reach of Yosemite, would recommend staying here and if i were to visit Yosemite would probably stay here again.

We had a fantastic Kingsize room very clean great bed good size bathroom
Decor was set in the mining area which suited the Motel name we really liked it.
A great meal can be had at the restaurant on the motel site.
The staff here were great and had a delightful sense of humour and the food
was good.
A great place to stay before driving to Yosemite Park.

Room Tip: make sure you are not the end unit by the stairs as people going up and down the stairs make it quit...

The Miner's Inn was everything we hoped for in our resent visit to Yosemite. 40 miles outside of the park it takes about 50 minutes to go back and forth. We had a Luxury room, king bed, gas fireplace, jetted tub, balcony with a table and 2 chairs and a living room with a kitchenette. Often these small towns outside of National parks are barren with little dinning options but not the case with Mariposa. Plenty of restaurants and a full size supermarket, Pioneer. Everything and everyone in this small town was lovely and genuine. Breakfast, included with your room, offered 2 waffle makers, fresh fruit, hard-boiled eggs, oatmeal, bread, english muffins, danishes, coffee and juice. Our room and the breakfast room were clean and comfortable. Would recommend the Miner's Inn and the following resturants; 1850, Castillo's, Happy Burger Diner and the Pizza Factory.

The motel is very nice, and very clean, the rooms are big. We came, 22 persons 11 rooms, and every thing vas ready, the keycards for the rooms, an overwiev with the rooms highlighted on a copi of the motel layout. Next morning - the breakfast was overwelming, everything your heart could want. So all in all, i would highly recomend this motel.

Easy check in, beautiful rooms, the views are amazing. Very clean property. The ceiling fan didn't work but they supplied a floor fan which was just fine with us. We had a few drinks in the bar and dinner at the adjoining Miners Roadhouse. I will definately stay there again next year for the Blazin Hog BBQ and Zydigo festival.

I purchase two rooms at this motel and was disappointed. The staff seemed indifferent. I wanted to check in at 2pm and the rooms were not available, I was told to come an hour later and they still were not available. So, altogether, I waited in a line 3 times for almost an hour. A tour bus with adolescents arrived late afternoon. They were disruptive. I really thought about how we were right next to a beautiful national park that was on fire because of human ignorance. Then, at breakfast, the utensils were plastic and the dishes were styrofoam. Here in this beautiful land people are making a profit but not taking care of the earth in any way. BTW, no Wifi ... and if you mention it to the staff you'll get a shoulder shrug.

Room Tip: Depends on who else is there. People are the noise.
