We were there on a Sunday night and were told there was only the diner which didn't sound so attractive, the someone remembered that the McCloud Hotel had started serving dinner and that it was good.
With a bit a mixed feelings we went along along and were surprised at the quality of the food. They're doing it right - good cooking with not too many options so you know they aren't over stretching themselves. The homemade pumpkin bread was a real gem - they're giving us the recipe! Wine was well priced and service was personal and attentive.
