A friend recommended this place to me and she was spot on. The staff was friendly, the rooms were very clean, and the continental breakfast was very excellent. Their prices are very competitive with others in the area, but the others can't compare with the views offered by Sea Rock Inn. I'll be back again next year. Thanks so much.

Room Tip: Book early.

Many of our guests have found us by being recommended by friends. As the saying goes, "Word of mouth is the most effective advertising"! We personally would like to thank your friend for recommending the Sea Rock Inn to you. AND through your wonderful 5 Star review you are passing on the that "Word of mouth". Thank you for your kind comments.

What a wonderful place, the cottage was so clean and cozy. Breakfast was great and differant each day. The inn is just far enough outside town to make you feel private. The sunset is spectacular as are the bluffs by the inn. They were also very helpfull with all the local stuff to visit.
Would recommend Sea Rock Inn to couples or families.

This is a top notch Bed & Breakfast and we were pleased with our 3 night stay in Cottage #3. The hospitality details of chocolate and wine in the room, fresh flowers in the bathroom, complimentary robes, and fireplace made for a lovely and comfortable stay. The breakfast's were yummy and the view while we ate was amazing! Staff was so kind and gracious and we felt very welcomed and cared for. These owner's have been doing this for twenty years and have it down! Recommend it to anyone visiting the quaint and beautiful town of Mendocino.

It is so rewarding to know that guests do notice the little details. We believe that along with the ocean view location that draws many of our guests, it is the small things that keep our friends coming back time after time. The in-room fresh flowers, wine and chocolates, and fluffy bathrobes add the extra touches that say we treasure your visit. Thank you so much for your 5 Star review.

We stayed two nights at a B&B in town; loved the area so much we decided to add another night, but they were booked. TripAdvisor to the rescue with great recommendations for the Sea Rock, and they happened to have beautiful cottage 5 available. From first contact over the phone, we knew this place would be special. Stunning ocean views, beautifully landscaped property, first class service with speedy, efficient check in. They helped us find a car wash in nearby Fort Bragg (new car, and all the tree sap on the paint was making me nervous), and provided other recommendations for sites to see along the way. We particularly enjoyed our afternoon at the botanical garden. It was such a leisurely pleasure after our 9 mile hike in the redwoods the day before. Cottage 5 has perfect ocean view from the sitting area; if you want that view from the bed, you need a different room. Gas fireplace, complementary wine, Keurig coffee maker in room, satellite TV, DVDs available for free rental, Scrabble, lovely breakfast with a stunning view in the breakfast room...what more could you ask for? Maybe a bigger shower stall; we are small people, and my husband never complains about anything as long as there is hot running water, but even he commented that normal or larger size folks would not be comfortable in that tiny corner shower. At least the water pressure was good, and we never ran out of hot water. I was also a bit surprised that the "feather bed" was a bit firmer than I expected; still comfortable, but even hubby commented. Regardless, we loved this place, the staff, and that gorgeous view. You can hike or drive to the headlands or town nearby. If you are eating in town and will be returning after dark, we recommend driving, as it could be dangerous to walk along that road in the dark. We wished we had more than one night here, and would stay here again. If staying more than a few nights, a cottage or room with a larger bath/shower may be preferred...but no matter what...you just cannot beat that view and the exceptional customer service.

Room Tip: Cottages more private. 1 or 5 have great ocean views; check the property map before making your selection. Consider asking about the bathrooms as well, if that is important to you (we found our shower in #5 to be rather small). The upstairs suites appear to be an attractive option as well.

Thank you so much for that rave 5 Star review! We are finding that our guests just can't help but get detailed in their descriptions of what they loved about the Sea Rock. Yes, our view and cozy cottages are what make our guests come back again and again to visit us. Our bathrooms do run the gamut from small and effecient to large and luxurious depending upon the size of the accommodation. Our innkeepers always like to describe the bath to perspective guests so that no one will be disappointed. Most of our accommodations do have tubs but our smaller rooms just have showers depending on the space. Be sure to mention that when next making a reservation with us. We are looking forward to your next stay!

The views were spectacular, the room was quiet and cozy with a nice gas fireplace, the staff was friendly and accommodating and the location was very convenient. My wife got a massage and said that it was the BEST she had ever had! We will be back.

It is so much fun for us to share in special occasions with our guests. I'm glad your new wife enjoyed her massage. A spa treatment during a Sea Rock stay just adds to the relaxation and enjoyment of the ocean side ambiance. Thank you for your kind 5 Star comments.
