The digj. was the most laid back Inn I've stayed at. I never felt more comfortable and at home. Charles was so polite, Put us in the best room right off the dinning area. The night Sally and Ira performed was awesome. The breakfast was so yummy, and the night Charles served fresh abalone tacos was more then incrediable. Can't wait to go back! Oh yes, Paula and all the other help were the best!!!

If you live a busy city life, this place is the perfect escape. First time traveling to Mendocino and couldn't have picked a better place to stay! I highly recommend the water tower suite with its warm rustic charm and great views. The water tower is very clean, has it own little patio area, and one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. The beach is no more than a 5 minute walk away (behind the church across the street). Everyone, staff and guests, were super friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is very laid back which is very nice and hard to find these days. Breakfast was simply amazing and out of this world. We were even fortunate enough to be there on the night of the Abalone Potluck where travelers and local folks stuff themselves with delicious abalone tacos, wine and dessert (Thanks Charles!). My wife and I had a blast and enjoyed every moment in Mendocino. Will definitely be stopping by again in the near future.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Nice clean room. We had a great time in Mendocino thanks to Charles taking time to inform us of the beaches we could take are dogs to and just hanging out. He is friendly and takes his time to be sure that you have what you need and where to go to have a great time while you're in Mendocino.

Charles' breakfasts are fantastic- and I'm not a breakfast person.

I appreciated the fact that Charles was at the Inn when we checked in and helped me carry to large dog crates into our room. He was also available and helpful with the crates when it was time to leave.

I came up with my daughter and 2 big dogs and I'll be returning this summer with both my girls and dogs to stay at Didjeridoo Dreamtime Inn.

Thank you Charles for a great stay

Let me say this first: I love Mendocino. I've been going there for 30 years and have stayed in many wonderful inns. They vary in quality, but the "Didj" was inarguably the worst. Dirty, dirty, dirty. I understand Mendo-Funky. I love Mendo-Funky. But not filthy. Dog hair everywhere, mold in the bathroom, gritty sheets. Ugh.

And the breakfast was nasty. I know, Charles, you're going to tell me it's "GREAT", but it wasn't. I don't understand why everything was sweet, including the freaking bacon. Do you understand that not everyone wants to start the day with a sugar rush (and subsequent collapse)? And to have to eat off my lap because there's no table seating is beyond awkward. I admit I'm not very coordinated in the morning, so it was a bit much to have to balance the plate and retrieve the coffee cup from the floor whenever I wanted a sip. Which, frankly wasn't often since it was so weak.

The best part was that I was only there for one night. Thank goodness! I moved over to a different inn and enjoyed the rest of my stay in Mendo.

Go ahead, Charles. Call me a 1%'er. Tell me to go back to the Polo Club. Tell me I'm a mean person. But really. As an adult who works in the hospitality business, your place is one of the worst I've ever stayed in. You tout how cheap your rates are-please charge more and hire people who can clean and cook...

What a neat place! My boyfriend and I stayed there got a getaway and loved it! The room was great, Marisa was awesome, and it was so comfortable! It was relaxing, mellow and had a great vibe. Within walking distance to the beach which was amazing. Also quick walk to town. Breakfast was good, but the overall feeling of the place was the best. Will gladly go back.

Stayed for 1 night. Friendly welcome. Tea and coffee available in communal area which was a good start. Disappointment began when we found our room. Felt insulted by the grubbiness of it ... Used to staying in cheaper places but have never yet experienced anything quite like it so yes it was unique but just not how I had imagined. Very laid back ambiance. Breakfast due to be served at 9.00 . It arrived at 9.20. Generally people loved the breakfast. However it did not really do much for mine and my partners palette. This is not a criticism but if you prefer something more continental and not bacon caked in brown sugar etc , it is hard to stomach and I ended up buying breakfast in town. The longer we stayed the more we appreciated it takes a certain type of person to appreciate staying here. Sadly it was not us. Still our visit will give us plenty to talk about when we get home.

The carpeting looked like a hundred dogs had slept there the night before. The door moldings on the inside of the room door and the bathroom door probably hadn't been cleaned in ten years. Also, breakfast is provided on a large round table. You serve yourself and hopefully find a place to sit down while holding your plate in your lap and putting your coffee cup on the floor. The breakfast was mediocre at best. I chose not to have the breakfast the second and last morning of my two night stay.

I've been to Mendocino some 20-25 times over the past 45 years and like to try different places to stay. The vast majority of the B&Bs were very good to excellent. A few were just "Good". This one is "Horrific" !

Oh My Gosh, You really had to eat with plates on your lap... Whatever will you tell your friends at the polo club?

Our rooms are clean and our breakfast is great! I do want to say that every review I've gotten on Trip Advisor I have answered back and I have remembered every guest I've answered, the good and the bad.... Who the heck were you?

One more thing, If you would had read our reviews and our website you would have knowen to expect a communal style breakfast in a mellow laid back place that trys to be a people and pet friendly environment. You would have also seen that I am very open about not being a fancy white glove inn and you would have picked another place (for much more money). Being that you did not you should not have given me an untrue bad review.
