I stay at the Rosewood anytime I go to the Valley with my family. You can get a two room suite and they will bring in cots for the kids. Their cots are actually just regular single beds on wheels. So, the kids get a good nights sleep. This is not a place to stay if you are on a budget, but if you want to see Silicon Valley at its best... this is the place to stay. The setting is amazing. The hills are the background to a breakfast in the restaurant. The pool is well maintained and not too crowded. The service everywhere is superb. Again, this is not cheap, but if you want a luxury experience, its where you go. It's minutes from Stanford and the Stanford Mall. Great shopping there! And it's just minutes from downtown Palo Alto which has some nice restaurants and provides a nice stroll.
