We checked in late at the LaQuinta and was told Chef Wang was opened until 10. We got there at 9:30 and you could tell they were close to closing but had no issues accomodating us and gladly took our order. The food was delicious and we will go back.

We ordered the family dinner. My husband wasn't very hungry and the waiter said it wasn't too much.We had more food than we could eat!
The soup was served in a large bowl and we each had at least 2 bowls. It was excellent wanton soup.
The fried rice was not what we were used to but very good. The rest of the meal was very good. I don't think they serve alcohol.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Chef Wang! We were staying at the Milwood Inn and the manager recommend Chef Wang which we could walk across the street to. The place was clean and the food delicious and reasonably priced. We will go there again when in the area.

So on a Saturday night, this was our third choice of a Chinese dinner restaurant. The other two in the area and on the same street had 1 hour waits with the locals, and with kids that does not fly. So we walked into Chef Wang's, and we were the only people in there. I was worried. However, as my family was hungry, we sat down and ordered. The food was served in decent time, the service was ok, especially for being the only customers. Had to ask for water and chop sticks. The food was good and we served family style so we all sampled our selections. I have been to better Chinese restaurants in my town with better quality, which was surprising for where we were.

This was about the only nearby dining option from our hotel (Millwood Inn & Suites), and didn't exactly look tempting - the decor is pretty basic, and the place was pretty deserted when we arrived. Luckily the food was plentiful, tasty, and cheap - which is all you need really, unless you're looking for a romantic night out!
