If you go to a place called Tofu House - order the Tofu? Ive been to this place many time, and never had anything other than great food. Then again, I've ordered the Hot Tofu, boiling in the stone dish, accompanied by 8 different little side dishes, freely refilled.
Yum.I wouldn't order fish at a steak place, I wouldn't order a steak at a seafood restaurant, I like to have the food the restaurant features and thinks is what they are there for. I suggest you do the same - and try the hot Tofu at this place - original pork or beef, with soybean paste (stronger than Miso), veg with multiple mushrooms, mixed with shrimp, clams, pork....I like them all, and so do the Korean colleagues that I frequently go with.

I'm not particular about Korean restaurants and my favorite places are probably street stalls in grimy markets in Busan, but I do expect a certain level of food quality and service wherever I go and this place doesn't measure up. I walked in right after opening at 11:00 a.m. and was promptly directed to a seat in the middle of the floor. The waiter brought over my water and said the side dishes weren't yet ready. You'd think if they were open, they would be prepared to serve. Okay....Anyway, I ordered bulgogi, a staple at most places, which was around $14.00. Limited menu of meat dishes, pahjun, and tofu soups, at not very good prices. The side dishes when they arrived were not all that numerous and the kimchi, while good, was not the tangy fermented kind I like so much. My water glass went unfilled for a long time and I was given a new side dish somewhere at the end of the meal, unexpectedly. The bulgogi was only just okay, not grilled and crispy but pan cooked and in a watery sauce. I recommend you eat in Koreatown in Santa Clara instead of here. More choices, better food, better prices.

We went there last Sunday with my parents and my one year old son. Everyone enjoyed it including my son. It was his first time eating rice. He had some rice, sea weeds, tofu soup, and tofu salads. And seems loved those!

The only thing we don't like was that it is usually crowded during meal time. We had to wait 30 minutes to get a table.
