I usually stay at Marriott's but had a budget-conscience client this time. It was what I was expecting. Pros: right off 880 and close enough to my client. Ground floor with outside entrance was convenient. French Vanilla Cappuccino available 24 hours. Staff was average--not snobby but not overly eager to help. Loveseat with coffee table. Microwave and fridge. Sort of clean. Powerful shower. Room rate was the best around.
Cons: loud heater/ac, sometimes shady guests, thin walls and ceilings, crappy 1970's TV, strong disinfectant smell, super slow Wi-Fi, cheap and ugly décor and furniture, cheap towels, garage-sale grill, below-average breakfast, awful Chinese restaurant next door and plastic-wrapped paper cups.
Like I said, you get what you pay for. Might stay again if I really have to save money.
