Consistantly good food and good service. A favoirte for the lunch during the work week, especially between 11:00 and 1:00, so there may be a wait. Seating in the bar area may be quicker if you are short on time.

“Not to be disrespectful but...”
Reviewed 24 December 2011

The thing is: if I say that Chili's Grill & Bar sucks big lemons I am running the risk of offending loyal patrons of this establishment. But what about the unsuspecting nice everyday eater that wants a nice place to spend their hard earned dollars? I choose the latter kind anytime, and after all the truth will set me free some day.
Four of us went to the place on a Friday night at their busiest hour. We opted for Chili instead of TGI Fridays (big mistake) who without being an outstanding place is way better than this mediocre, filled to the brim place. Starting with the service which was choppy, pushy (never the less we left a very nice tip, being the Holidays and all, and who needs bad karma anyways?) a young lady that wanted to push the plates as fast as possible so we had to slow her down, just enough to allow ourselves to read the menu and make an informed decision (is that too much to ask?), so we started with coffee and a couple of appetizers. The coffee arrived lukewarm, who am I kidding, cold enough where you could drink it in one gulp-specially with the small cup in which it came- so I politely suggested a little hotter, perhaps next time? Our waitress became somewhat defensive and assured us that she would put the coffee on the microwave next round. Not a nice thing to say, even though it might be standard practice in the place (and many others? God Forbid!) and that was that.
First Appetizer was Chips and Guacamole with Corn. Chips so thin and fragile you better not try to dip them directly unless you wanted to see them break into little pieces inside the dip. The guacamole old beyond redemption but with enough citrus to permit for the color to remain, disgusting and in no time after the meal, part of the overall acid indigestion the four eaters suffered.
Next Appetizer: Chili Fries (this one was asked by one in the group who ended up eating it by his lonesome self) it tasted like cheese, overly cooked fries and truly distasteful.
Followed by: two bbq ribs with super mashed potatoes: this ribs where so delicately thin you did get a taste of meat, which was soft (better be) but meager on its serving. The sauce was like a 100 sauces of its kind, nothing to write home about it.
Classic Bacon Burger: watching the person that ate it and asking later it appeared it was the best looking of the bunch even though on the taste department it had nothing on Burger King or Wendy's, which is a joke once you think about it. A forgettable and very average burger.
Last but equally dissapointing: chicken quesadillas (noticed I got tired of including caps? that's how poor and mediocre the dishes were, do not deserve any caps), this dish came with some more of the recycled guacamole, sour cream which to their credit appeared more fresh, and dried quesadillas inside and out.
Big Fiasco! To the weary eater a word of advice: not because the place if filled to capacity it means they are serving great food inside! This is sad for it speaks volumes about palates that support and help this place to thrive, kind of like a packed Taco Bell which has been going down the hill for years but business does not seem to be hurting. But for those who still can tell good food from not so good, this place is a letdown.
2 Stars at best and this makes TGI Fridays look like a shining star compared to this acid indigestion inducer of a place.

“Average Outing”
Reviewed 30 July 2011

Barely a 3 Stars and that is because our waiter, Eric, was fast, nice and efficient. The food is edible. We opted for the $20 deal which includes one apetizer, two entrees out of the particular list and that's it. I had the bacon burger, my friend the chicken explosion salad which included sliced chicken, slices of avocado, plenty of lettuce, and the most dried up, tasteless quesadillas this side of the border. The thing is they do give you plenty to eat but in the end the food is not memorable and yes, I agree that buying a la carte gives one access to more elaborate and perhaps tastier dishes, but that is what we ordered and it should be enough to tell wether the place is a tasty place to eat or not so much. It was a good deal for the amount. For an appetizer I ordered the fire trio (tortillas served warm and soft to the bite, guacamole in a small bowl, and red salsa). This one alone was a sizable amount. The burger dried but the bacon okey. The chicken explosion salad edible and that is it. For a friday night it was not very crowded and the service as I mentioned above was good and the tip showed it. Oh! a cup of the sweet corn soup too. Not to bad. Overall an average outing, therefore 3 Stars.
