Stayed in July. The hotel is in the middle of some pretty serious road construction on Oso Pkwy, but is convenient to I-5 North. It is an extremely clean hotel -- one of the cleanest I have been in. The accomodations are basic -- this is not a fancy hotel -- but they were quite sufficient especially for the price. The first night, power went out, presumably from the road construction as other businesses outside the hotel were also without power. Luckily the window in the room opened just a bit, providing fresh air. We were provided with glow sticks for the night. The power came on early the next morning, JUST in time for a shower and preparation for work.

at the outset $129 was little expensive, but the best rates offered for a 10 day stay was very professional..the staff are very helpful that you will get the things you want from them in a jiffy.. clean place with quality breakfast...

A fine hotel, and for about $100, you get the usual big-chain generic hotel, but it's clean and has all you want. Zero creep-out factor, safe room, a good night's sleep.
The front desk staff tried sticking me with a poorly-located room (noisy) but did trade it out (for a quieter room, even if it was one with a 3/4 size floor plan.) They were also utterly clueless that they could fix the luggage cart by going to the gas station next door and inflating the tires, but their heart was in the right place.

Room Tip: To the end of the hallway!

The hotel is behind two gas stations/convenience stores, and even though the light you turn at has a green sign that says "Fairfield Inn" it is still easy to miss. It is right off of the freeway making it convenient to everything. Although the property is older they have kept it fresh, but by no means it is fancy. Just a good basic place to stay at a reasonable price. There isn't even a closet...just a tiny little armoire. No sofa, just a chair and the TV mostly just basic cable. The A/C is the old under the window, noisy crank on and off kind. Breakfast can be hectic when the hotel is full, but I have to say they had some of the best donuts at a hotel buffet I have ever had and there was a fresh fruit salad that was very good as well.
