Trains came by every hour or so all throughout the night blowing their horn. Got very little sleep... There was also a leak in the bathroom. Almost slipped and fell on the water on the floor. If you need a good night sleep, find a different hotel in a different location.

Just as soon as we were notified the leak was repaired so you should not ever have this issue again. We are working very closely with the City right now in creating a zone whereby the trains would not be allowed to blow their horns. We are close to coming to a resolution and in the meantime you can always take advantage of the complimetary ear plugs in the room as well.

I just returned from my second stay here, having to go up for legal proceedings for a client. I contacted them in advance to ask for a very hard bed with bedboards (bad back) and quiet side of hotel. They took care of all of that, with great efficiency (rarely do even the finest hotels have the bed boards installed before i get there, they always wait--here, they were there before i got there and even the front desk knew to tell me that. They were very friendly on check in, as well as throughout the stay and very helpful. While this may not be the Four Seasons or the Ritz, for its purpose and price point, it was perfect, exactly what i expected. Nice service, quick attention to glitches (my partner was in a second room and his "security lock" somehow got locked when he left the room, effectively locking him out. We had security and the maintenace people up there pretty quickly they fixed it with a smile. So, good service, very nice people and rooms were exactly as expected, clean and nicely usable. The train does go by several times during the night, but we were on the opposite side of the hotel and, while we heard it, it wasn't too bad. They give you ear plugs on request; i was too tired to need these and slept solidly the entire night (a rare occurence for me) and didn't need them, but get them since they are nice colors and you will use them sometime in the future. The warm cookies on check in are nice, and if you ask nicely they will give you another one (maybe more, i didn't ask more than once) during your stay. No comment on food, i didn't eat there this time. Bottom line, very accomodating and pleasant people to work with. They even discovered i messed up with reservations and had 4 rooms reserved and only needed two; they sent me email and we cleared that up, so they are on top of the ball. they have a pool and jacuzzi outside, didn't use them but looked at them, and a gym that i looked at but didn't use--with my bad back, there are only certain machines i can use and they didn't have those (and i didn't expect them to) but it should satisfy most normal users of treadmills and elliptical trainers. My ratings below are based on the level of this hotel; its not a Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons, so I evaluated it on the basis of the level of hotel it is.

The rooms were cleaned and for the most part good. Unfortunately they did not have a microwave. this was defenetly a problem because i could not warm anything up. In this day in time you would think a microwave would always be there, and it should. Please think about it.

The hotel was very nice in all aspects. We attended a family wedding that was held at the hotel. The ceremony was beautiful as was the reception and so convenient to be staying right there. Food was really great also. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

This is our second stay. The hotel was fully booked and yet the service was still very good. Staff remained friendly and courteous. Our room was promptly serviced. The train going by at night can be disturbing but the hotel provides ear plugs. The warm cookie is always a treat it just needs milk or ice cream to accompany it!
