A local friend recommended this place to us for the burgers. They were amazing! And they didn't agree with me at all. However, I felt this family run little hole-in-the-wall, that literally occupies half a neighborhood corner market, deserved another chance. I was not disappointed. This time I had the carrot ginger soup with a side salad, sugar-free blackberry lemonade, and a bacon chocolate-chip cookie. Everything, even the ranch dressing for the salad, was made from scratch, and all absolutely wonderful. A large tattooed man asked how I liked the soup, and then explained how he had adapted his vegan recipe from a much richer, butter and cream-laden recipe. The staff is very friendly and exude their passion for good honest food. I don't get to patronize The Market Grill as often as I'd like, but I highly recommend a visit to anyone in the area.
