We stayed here for our anniversary last year and were a little surprised when we drove up. The Inn was not in the heart of Monterey and looked old from the outside. The parking in the back lot is VERY limited (4 spaces?) but we were usually able to find one very nearby on the street. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful - our last minute request for a private bath was met immediately and at no extra charge. Our room was downstairs with a kitchenette area and private bath. It was very nice for the price (super prices!).
The sitting room was cozy and had a nice array of breakfast muffins and whatnot.
The Inn was somewhat far from Cannery Row, but is directly across the street from the bike path and the ride to Cannery Row was easy and fun.
We'd definitely stay at the Del Monte Beach Inn again!
