First arrived in dark stuffy room with large very unusual print curtains covered in sleeping bears. No fan or way to circulate the air and generally not clean. Curtains had active mould on them and the sliding door to outside was off its tracks and leaning against the glass. Called up and asked for another room. Staff were accomodating and moved us. Second room was better. Not the worst hotel I’ve stayed in but up there.
There was no A/C and no fan. It was a warm night and no way to get air into the room. It was difficult to sleep. The room was large and well kept up, the grounds were interesting and in good shape. It might be okay in the winter, but we had a hot room and not a good night's sleep. Because of this we will not stay here again.
This travel lodge is good if you stay short and if you are looking for a not too expensive place to stay. The interior is a bit worn out and old. Do not expect too much, but it is still acceptable. The pool can be used and is fine. Suited for families with kids. Breakfeast is basic but you find enough to fill your stommage.
Close to airport so you hear jets flying over every 15 mins. Got bitten by ants in bed. They turned off the "free" wifi during the day and turned it back on at night. They allowed a family to BBQ in the parking lot on a portable grill. No air conditioning so bring your fan. Beds very uncomfortable. Could have been nicer for the price.
Rooms were clean and well appointed with comfortable beds. Internet was spotty. It was difficult to figure out how to use the microwave. Breakfast had no hot food except for toast that customers made themselves.
