“A great substitute for the long whale watch tour”
Reviewed 10 September 2013

We were a bit disappointed that the weather cancelled the long whale watching tours for the day, but the shorter cruise on The Little Mermaid was just the ticket! We nibbled on live kelp, saw live sea otters and a few seals, but there were 100's of sea lions on the breakwater! Big ones, small ones, sleeping ones, LOUD ones! One was playing with us and splashing passengers, and another group was following a kayaker. Thanks for the fun, quick trip

“Fun way to spend an hour.”
Reviewed 28 July 2013

We decided to get out on the water for a little while before having lunch. This was the perfect way. The ride was quick, lasting just under an hour and the small boat was not crowded at all. The young guide was knowledgeable and informative, sorry I forgot your name. We sailed out and viewed some large harbor seals lounging about on some private boats, viewed some heavy kelp beds thru the glass bottom of the boat and enjoyed a couple of otters napping atop the floating kelp. All in all it was a fun sail and quite worth the $12.00 ticket.

“Skip”
Reviewed 12 July 2013

You could see inside the kelp better looking over the side of the boat. Too fast to really sea anything besides a few sea otters,a sea lion or two and some harbor seals and a few snails and you are back at the dock. Go for the longer whale watching or sail and you will be much happier.

Worth the 13 dollars to ride! You will see sea otters and seals up close! Great quick boat ride around to see the sights without getting wet! Highly recommend this, it will be the best 30 minutes of your holiday!

“A very good deal in Monterey”
Reviewed 27 June 2013

We wanted to see Monterey Harbor, on a budget. The Little Mermaid Glass Bottom Boat Tours offered a tour of the harbor and a look into the bay waters below, all in one neat little very affordable price. The crew was great and gave us the story of all the sealife we were seeing. There were many seal lions, seals and otters out during our trip. We spent about 40 mins on the water and really had a great time. Part of the trip included stopping in the kelp forrest to look down upon these wonderful dea plants. I want to recommend this little trip and I know you will enjoy it as much as we did. $13.00 each. You can't go wrong.
