We really liked this property and staff and being Marriott Bonvoy Titanium are pleased with recent upgrades and look forward to some additional upgrades.
We were on the 9th floor facing the city and water which is about the best you can have based on how the property was built.
We liked our room which was spacious with nice vanity, large stone shower, large closet, nice sitting area, refrigerator and views of the city and bay.
Over the past few years there have been several upgrades to both the lobby and public areas as well as the rooms. We were on the ninth floor for this visit and it was very nice.
The restaurant where we had the breakfast buffet is really nice and had a very large selection of breakfast items: omelette station, waffles, many types of donuts and pastries, lots of fruit and the standard bacon, eggs, potatoes etc. Although the restaurant is nice it seems a bit outdated in color and decor style. The bar area on the other hand is very modern looking. All staff were very polite, courteous and eager to help.
The outside of the hotel I think needs painting so as not to have the dinghy yellow color. This would give it a fresh modern look. Also the only parking option is either valet or self park in a public lot 3 blocks away.
There is a bar/restaurant space at the far opposite end of the hotel which is unused and looks like it’s will be be renovated. It will be nice to see what goes in there.
We will stay here again and look forward to additional upgrades.
