There simply couldn't be a nicer place to stay in Morro Bay. Book early so you can get one of the three rooms over the water. The amazing Rock is right there. We sat on the balcony watching the boats, kayakers and seals go by. Extremely peaceful. Molly & Jeff were so wonderful, going out of their way to give us suggestions of where to go and what to see. The food in The Galley downstairs was delicious too, and the service was excellent. If you like oysters, walk down toward the fishing boats and there is a guy that will shuck some fresh oysters for you right there.

Room Tip: Get a room over the water

Very nice place. We got a warm welcome and good advice from Jeff. The view from our room was, of course, breathtaking, and The Galley was excellent.

A warm welcome from Molly, an absolutely lovely room - comfortable, big, and perfectly decorated. A wonderful view of Morro Rock, the sea lions and sunset. We were only there for a day & night - unfortunately - we would have loved to stay longer! Excellent dinner in the Galley, the freshest of fish. Thank you for a memorable stay, we enjoyed meeting you all, hope to visit again some day!

This was our third stay at the Anderson Inn. We keep coming back to this luxury boutique inn because of the outstanding customer service, lovely and cozy accommodations and delicious dining at their restaurant, The Galley. The village of Morro Bay has interesting shops and a gorgeous view but it is the welcoming hospitality of the Anderson family, owners of the Anderson Inn, that keeps us coming back.

Room Tip: Book early to get a gorgeous ocean front room.

Great, friendly reception upon our arrival. The Anderson Inn was just as described by other guests; simply wonderful! The seals were a bit noisy at night but that just added to the ambiance. We highly recommend the Galley restaurant located in the same building.
