“Hands-on, small scale, makes more of an impression”

The aquarium may not be the most modern but thats what allows it to be truly more intereactive than places with computerized modules. I'm not a seal so i cannot say 100% but the seals that visitors can feed dont seem to be unhappy, actually where else can rehabilitated seals /sea lions live and receive such attention? My 4 year old son still talks about seals & sea lions daily, a week since our visit, incorporates them into his play, and has an awareness and appreciation of them because of his visit to the aquarium. Not sure he'd like them the same if he'd not seen them in person.

“Affordable Kid's Fun”
Reviewed 14 September 2013

My three young grandsons loved seeing the seals faces a few inches away as they fed them the fish bits. The seals barked loudly & clapped for more, much to the delight of the boys. The other sea creatures were interesting & though it is a small place, it was just fine for kids attention span. The $2 entrance was priced right, too.

“Like a return to the '50's and 60's.”
Reviewed 4 September 2013

I hate to say it since someone is making a living off this relic, but I was surprised this place survives. Zoos and aquariums looked like this in my childhood. I don't think this is a desirable environment for the animals or the fish. They deserve better.

“Still the Same”
Reviewed 27 August 2013

It's old, growing up in Morro Bay, the Aquarium is still the same years later. Cheap admission. The tanks seem so small for the Sea Lions. Kids still love to visit!
