We had just pulled into Morro Bay after a long drive from San Diego and we wanted to get dinner out of the way before we checked into our hotel. We happened upon the Galley and decided to give it a try. We asked for a window table and the hostess seated us right away. The sun was just setting so it added to the already nice ambiance of the restaurant. The server was also very attentive. She offered suggestions for our consideration. I ordered the pan seared scallops and and my wife had the halibut and shrimp ceviche. Both were excellent. I also tried the clam chowder and it was very good. This is a moderately priced restaurant. We spent just under one hundred dollars with a couple of drinks. This is one of those places that makes visiting a seaside town worth the visit. We will definitely be back.
