This is indeed a fine restaurant and every time my wife and I passed near Morro Bay we patronized it. On Aug. 14 we were hosting a European executive and wanting to show her the best of the USA we took her to this restaurant where we were seated right next to a dog. The dog was supposed to be a service dog, sitting with a very young people that obviously had no need for any service. But even if they did, a well-managed restaurant staff would seat a dog a bit away from other diners. That dog was so close that it eventually brushed against my leg triggering a complaint that spoiled our overpriced, yet in all other respects classy dinner.
