I am always in awe of the beauty of Mt. Shasta. What a marvelous God we have to display His majesty in such a glorious way.

“Yeah, Baby!”
Reviewed 20 June 2014

Wow, what a beautiful mountain! The landscape is so different from many Alpine places in that the trees are really tall, but the forests are not filled with brush. This makes for lots of beautiful views without a moonscape until you get to higher elevations. I only bopped around a little at Bunny Flat, but I really loved it. We were there at night and during the day and there were tons of people there after dark, making it fun and not at all scary. I had never been there in my time in California, and now I am kicking myself. A very pristine place that seems to be able to handle all the people who come to give their appreciation. This is a mountain that gives back. Love you, Shasta! Thanks.

“The mountain called”
Reviewed 11 June 2014

Climbing to Mt Shasta's summit was a peak experience, literally. I spent 2 nights on the mountain at 10,000 ft and the summit day was 17 hours long. It was great!

“Crystal Store”
Reviewed 29 May 2014

I didn't actually spend time on the mountain but I had to chose an attraction, There is a shop behind Suzie's on Mt, Shasta Blvd that is nothing but crystals. WOW you should visit that store if you're into crystals. They have small ones, big ones, huge ones. OMG they are just beautiful. Some range in price from $17,000 to $24,000 and more. The store looks little from the outside but it has 8 rooms in it and every room has a display of crystals. The people there are so friendly and eager to answer your questions and give you useful information. My son and I spent quite awhile in that store just looking. Magnificent just awesome. There are rare crystals. You jjust have to check it out. You will be amazed.

“Unexpectedly great climb”
Reviewed 27 May 2014

Shasta by the Clear Creek route is quite direct, with only one major route-finding decision to be made. The 2200 foot glissade makes it a great choice, as a descent can be made enjoyably in three hours.
