“Delicious and wholesome”
Reviewed 15 July 2014 via mobile

We trekked up to the end of the road on Mt. Shasta, and came back down to Mt. Shasta for lunch. What a treat. A small, yet extremely high quality café that served fresh made soups, sandwiches, and salads. We love this café.

“WE GOT HOOKED on this cafe”
Reviewed 23 March 2014

I liked the reviews that I read on Trip Advisor , so we hit this place the first morning. Very cute and cool café. A very friendly vibe as we entered. Everything looked so good and tempting. We ordered the California Scramble, as everyone had highly recommended it...and we agreed it was GREAT !! We also had a bear claw and apricot turnover ...YUMMY!!! We ordered the exact same breakfast all four mornings that we were in town. We met some very nice people in there also..and enjoying talking to the owner. It was a great find !

“Best scrambled eggs ever!”
Reviewed 14 November 2013

"California Scramble" for $9.95 with lots of avacado, and tasty hash browns. Very nice, informal, comfortable atmosphere. Filled with local patrons; picture window seating against the sidewalk of a main street in town. Order of the menu at the counter, where great looking pastries sit under glass. The waitress serves your food, but you serve your own coffee and water from a side station. the service is just okay, but the food tastes delicious!

“Great Little Shop & Friendly Owners”
Reviewed 4 November 2013

Loved this little shop! It has a homey small town feel to it while at the same time welcoming to new visitors. The two egg dishes we ordered were generous in size, very good, and priced well.

We had a brief chat with one of the owners about our trip and told them we found them via their great Tripadvisor and Yelp reviews. We had stayed at the nearby Mt Shasta Resort and had a horrible dinner the night before at their Highland House restaurant, so there was no way we were eating breakfast there too. So glad we found Mt Shasta Pastry!

On our way out we picked up two turnovers for the road, one apple, one apricot. They were delicious too :)
