Like most Hampton Inns, this is primarily intended for business travelers, which makes it a great deal for the weekend tourist. Not too crowded on Friday and Saturday nights. Very nice room for the price, with an exceptionally comfortable bed. Free Internet is always appreciated.

The free breakfast was okay - the standard sweet rolls, yogurt, and drinks, plus one special item per day; Saturday morning was French toast fingers, Sunday was sausage, eggs, and biscuits (think Egg McMuffin).

We had a room facing the back, and it was as quiet as could be. There was very little traffic in the area, at least during the weekend. The hotel is a few blocks from the commuter train and the nicely-maintained downtown area, good for walking around and checking out a plethora of mostly Asian restaurants.

The only complaint is that the only elevator was unbelievably slow. It only had to cover three hotel floors plus the underground parking garage, but that could take five minutes. It would have been much faster to walk upstairs, but with luggage, not so convenient.

  • Liked — Great room and bed
  • Disliked — Really slow elevator

I've stayed in many bland Hampton Inns, but this one was spectacular. It's definitely a notch above the regular Hampton Inn.

We booked several rooms in this hotel when my family gathered for a memorial service for my mother. We got a group rate (very reasonable) and at least 20 of us stayed here.

The hotel is very new and the rooms are beautiful. Most had two queen beds, but ours had a king and a couch. The furnishings were very, very tasteful...definitely a cut above a normal just-off-the-highway Hampton Inn. The art on the walls was even nice!

The hotel has a very nice spacious lobby where breakfast is served. Because we were a group it was a great place to gather in the morning.

What else? Free internet (although it was not wireless). Granite counters in the bathroom, fridge, and bar sink. Nice bedspreads!

This hotel is a great value. I'd stay there in a heartbeat.

  • Liked — Clean and well appointed. Exceeded expectations of a Hampton Inn
  • Disliked — Nothing, but I did not expect a resort
  • Tips/Secrets — They give group discounts!

We stayed here for my brother's wedding and really liked it! We had a king bed with a sofa bed for my daughter. A microwave, refrigerator, coffe maker, small sink with a counter and some popcorn for a snack (pop in microwave). It came with breakfast in the morning and all this for $69.00. Can't beat the price for the value. We will definately stay here again since we have found a nice place to stay when we want to go to a concert at the Shoreline and not drive the long drive home.

Very nice facilities, clean rooms. This was a great stay for a short business trip. Much nicer and quieter than the other nearby hotels located just off the freeway. Would definitely stay again.

Typical Hampton Inn and within walking distance of a VERY VERY congested but quaint area of many shops and restaurants. Very nice rooms with excellent pillows and beds. 20+ channel TV with a nice selection. Very clean and has outdoor and underground parking areas. Can't find much to complain about except the breakfast area wasn't "typically Hampton" being that it was somewhat small and the tables were in the very large lobby area instead of a separate breakfast room like most Hamptons. The other review said there wasn't an internet connection in the lobby--YES there is! The internet hook-up is in a room down the hall from the main desk. I'd stay here again and I'm very picky, so that tells you this place is OK.

We stayed at this Hampton since we were going to both Palo Alto and San Jose, and it was conveniently located between the two cities. It's a fairly new Hampton with underground parking, nothing much in the lobby (we've been in others with free internet access in the lobby), and no particular problems. It was about a 2 minute drive to downtown Mountain View where there were dozens of restaurants of every ethnicity, many with outdoor seating. A very nice town (or rather city - it's 100,000 population). We would have no problems staying here again.
