Owner description: Jarvis Estate is a family owned winery dedicated to crafting a limited quantity of preeminent wines from our sustainably farmed, estate vineyards in the rugged hillside, four miles east of downtown Napa Valley. The Jarvis Estate winemaking facility is entirely contained within 45,000 square feet of cave tunneled into the scenic Vaca Mountains, and is not only a visual masterpiece, but a technical masterpiece as well. Wines are produced only from estate grown grapes and are cave-aged to perfection prior to release. Varietals include: Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Verdot, Tempranillo and a two proprietary Bordeaux blends.

Delicious wines and an extremely knowledgeable host. Very worth your while! The caves and the history of the vineyard are fascinating.

Alex was our tour guide and he was WONDERFUL! The Jarvis caves are absolutely beautiful! Alex took us through each step Jarvis does to make quality, full bodied wine. The tour was very relaxed and we didn't feel rushed at all. It was like strolling through beautiful wine caves with a group of friends. The tasting is in a gorgeous room paired with some yummy cheese and crackers. This tasting made me a Chardonnay lover....it was AMAZING! The reds were bold with complex flavors. Well worth the money for the tour!

The caves of Jarvis are really something to see... The entire place exudes extravagance, beginning with the main entry door. The tour is informative and entertaining, and the tasting is among the best. We appreciated that the tasting had a cheese & cracker pairing! The other people in our tour were members of the Jarvis Wine Club, so I expect we got a little extra TLC during our visit, which we greatly appreciated. Out of all the vineyards and wineries we visited, this was probably the most unique and memorable one... I would definitely recommend it!

Excellent experience with Rob on our visit to Napa Valley. Rob made our visit outstanding. I would definitely recommend it to anyone heading to the valley, but you will need reservations. It is pricey, but I would go again without a doubt.

Excellent from the wines to the wine cave unbelievable. small friendly custom tour, 6 people total. Alex could not of been more friendly, and knowledgeable. The cave itself is unbelievable with the water fall, incredible ballrooms and then there is the wine, unbelievable. Word of caution, once you taste this wine, every other tasting is like drinking grape juice, it spoils you.
