We are now home after our wonderful holiday in California. Our stay with you and the
Platypus wine tour were one of the highlights of our visit. Thank you so much for your
friendly welcome and helpful advice, and we shall have no hesitation in recommending
The Candlellght Inn to our friends.

Room Tip: We occupied the highest room in the house at the front, very quiet.

We actually stayed at this B&B few years ago, but it is still one of the most memorable stay we've ever had to this day.

The house is so charming & beautiful, the room we stayed was wonderful (with private steam room!), and the breakfast was superb. Thank you!

From start to finish, the Candlelight Inn was a beautiful experience for my husband and I on our honeymoon weekend. Sam, the managing partner, is fantastic and every element of our room and our stay were superb. We stayed in the Garden View room, which I recommend for those who enjoy the hominess of a B&B but the privacy of a room rather secluded and with its own private entrance, allowing even access to the lovely garden and pool 24/7. The fridge is stocked with cheese and fruit plates, white or red wine, and even a plate of cookies. There's a book with restaurant menus and attraction recommendations in the dining room, and there were fresh flowers and chilled champagne and chocolates in our room (with its own beautiful hot tub!) Our room featured all the usual amenities, plus the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, a lighted make-up mirror in the bathroom and even packets of make-up remover! What's so wonderful about this B&B is the structure and decor is delightfully warm yet the fixtures and paint and amenities in the rooms are modern and completely refurbished. The breakfast was multi-courses, and every one more scrumptious than the last! I kept thinking that was it, but then Sam would smile and set down the next course - I believe 3-4 in all, very gourmet, but also light and extremely flavorful. The robes in the room were so comfy and absorbent (yet light); I will purchase one to take home when we return for our 1 year anniversary. This will become a tradition because of how lovely it was and how we were treated. We've told all our friends not to stay anywhere else if they visit Napa ... we certainly won't! Worth every penny :)

Room Tip: Garden View is so nice; high, comfy bed with a romantic canopy - in-room spa and fireplace, large TV...

The building is cute, the room we stayed in was cozy and comfortable, the grounds (including the pool) were beautiful, the breakfast was amazing, and the hosts friendly, welcoming, and full of local information. In other words, exactly what a Bed and Breakfast is supposed to be. Close to downtown Napa and towards the southern end of the Napa Valley wine region, Candlelight Inn was the perfect place for the 3 days we spent in region. I highly recommend it.

My wife, Susan, and I usually take a trip the last week in August to celebrate our anniversary (38 and counting:-) ) and escape the fog in Aptos. We have been to Napa before and have stayed at many B&Bs. We choose Candlelight Inn for this trip and discovered that it was the best choice we could have made. We had a PERFECT 4 night stay in the Cottage while our adult son had a lovely room in the main building. Sam and Scott were excellent hosts and we felt at home and comfortable. They arranged everything we wanted and made some excellent suggestions. The 3 course breakfast was just the perfect balance before we were off on wine tasting adventures. The Candlelight Inn is a perfect base for anyone wanting an oasis while in Napa. We highly recommend it and plan to stay again.

Room Tip: The Cottage Room is great especially for couples.

We had a fantastic time at the Candlelight Inn during our two days in Napa! The inn itself is really beautiful and very peaceful, and Sam and Scott could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We stayed in the cottage during our visit, and I can tell you the photos on the website are nothing compared to how amazing it is in person. Also, the three-course breakfasts were incredible - the perfect beginning to a long day of winery visits. Also, don't forget your swimsuits - the pool is heated and very relaxing. We would highly recommend staying here and can't wait to go back ourselves! Stephen & Victoria

Room Tip: We stayed in the cottage, which was an outstanding choice. Very quiet and private, with lots of spa...

You won't believe the food! It is such a wonderful breakfast with so much attention to detail. I hope you wake up hungry! We ate at numerous restaurants in Napa Valley during our 5 day stay in the area, but we loved the food at the Candlelight Inn the best! Scott, Sam, and Dan were wonderful hosts. The Inn is very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The pictures on the website did not do it justice. The building and landscaping are really impressive! We hope to return soon!
