My husband & I lucked out finding this perfect gem at the last second! When we arrived, we were welcomed to the wine social where we met the hosts and other guests & had a blast getting to know everyone. The wine tasting was superb (Jessup Cellars) that we joined their wine club on the spot! The spread of hors de'vores was delicious and the tudor-style home was beautifully decorated, clean and offered every perfect detail, small & large - from the DVD & book collection down to the high-end toiletries, cozy linens & towels...the vases of fragrant flowers around every corner as well as the late-night treats offered to the guests (chocolate cakes & strawberries, meat & cheese plates, sodas, wine, bottled water)...every need I had was met with over-the-top service! The pool and the grounds are beautifully manicured and clean. The gourmet breakfast was perfect from start to finish & the personal touch the host, Sam gave made us feel like we'd made a new friend. We will definitely be going back & I'm already recommending The Candlelight Inn to anyone traveling to the area!!!

We were lucky enough to read B&B reviews on TripAdvisor while planning our trip to Napa and found Candlelight Inn. We spent two nights there and our experience was fabulous. Sam, our host, was very helpful with making recommendations for things to do while in Napa. Carol, our concierge helped us with reservations for restaurants and for our balloon trip and also with wineries that required advance notice. We loved the breakfasts and all of the special touches throughout the inn. We would definitely recommend this B&B to our friends.

All the reviews are true! My wife and I stayed in the cottage, which is its own little house with a huge room, large in-room Jacuzzi tub, decorative columns, huge king-size bed, beautifully decorated, private porch overlooking a creek... WOW! It was amazing. Also, the hostess brings in your breakfast to your own personal dining room in your cottage! And what a breakfast it was! Four courses, freshly squeezed fruit juices, deliciously prepared and delivered perfectly. The room was also stocked with free cheese and fruit plate -- which was amazing. The room was booked on Valentine's day and cost about $400 per night. The location is also fantastic and is very close to town but secluded in its own little forested area. Beautiful landscaping as well. Best B&B I have ever stayed at!

My husband and I stayed at the Candlelight Inn for our 1 year anniversary. It was our first bed and breakfast experience and did not know what to expect. Overall we both enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend it to others going to Napa. The location was great (close to freeway), only a few minutes to downtown or the wineres and about 30 minues to Sonoma. Upon arrival we were greeted right away and given very useful information of the Inn as well as of Napa and wineries and were given maps, etc. I expected our room to be a lot smaller, we stayed in the Lady Heather. The spa tub was great and very romantic, it's a must. The room itself was very nice and welcoming. The bathroom was clean and roomy, however, the shower was a bit small (only 1 person). The breakfast were delicious each morning. There was always water, soda, wine available in the fridge to which you had 24 hr. access. There were usually little snacks there as well in addition to a cheese platter and chocolate cake available in the eveing. I have no complaints and we are very excited and looking forward to our next bed and breakfast stay.

The Candlelight Inn was our first experience with B&B’s – and Sam set the mark so high, that I’m wondering if anyone will ever measure up. No suggestions for improvements from us, we had a delightful stay in the valley! Lovely accommodations, first class breakfasts, quiet surroundings, tremendous hospitality... just fantastic!
