Romantic, relaxing weekend. Warm hospitality and gracious hosts. Spacious grounds with a cozy intimate setting. Close to all te restaurants and wineries yet secluded at the end of a cul de sac. In addition to sending a lists of restaurants ahead of time, Sam helped plan a Valentine's day adventure for us.

We had the attic room which had a king size bed and high vaulted ceilings, a steam bath and lots of room. The pool area is great for hanging out and relaxing.

This was the first time my wife and I had stayed at a bed & breakfast.

Pros: The room accommodations and staff hospitality were second to none. The room (Lady Heather) was clean and the views off the balcony were great. I have an allergy to gluten and the chef, who is also the owner of the inn, was able to prepare excellent gluten-free meals. Not an easy feat as some of you may know. Close to downtown Napa and many wineries.

Cons: The only negative about the Candlelight Inn we experienced is the bed. The bed didn't have the greatest support.

Overall, we look forward to our next trip to Napa and the Candlelight Inn.

This was our first stay at the Candlelight Inn (Napa Valley). We made our choice off the previous online reviews. It is everything and more than you will read about! Our 2 day stay was like a dream come true. The house is beautiful, the grounds are well kept, the service like no other. We had the opportunity to see all of the rooms when we arrived, talk about a WOW factor, so much attention to detail. We stayed in the Garden Room, private jacuzzi, fire place and the large bathrooms, with the most comfortable bed. My love for antiques made it extra special for me. Sam and the staff are great, the breakfast is ( to live for) :). 5 star all the way, they have a wonderful wine reception in the evening as well with great wine and snacks.
I have stayed at alot of wonderful places (B & B), this is now my favorate. I would reconmend this Inn to anyone that wants to be treated like royalty in the most romantic setting. There is nothing like waking up from the best sleep ever and then having a five star breakfast with beautiful surroundings. For the price part of it, no complaints I would do it weekly if I could!!!!
They will also handle dining reservations and such.

We have stayed at several very nice B&B's but this is our new favorite. On our first night we were greeted at the door and shown to our room. We were given quick tour and shown were the refrigerator was that we had access to 24/7. Inside were fruit and cheese plates and chocolate cake. We had both , both nights we were there.

We then were taken to the wine reception. Richard Miami was there from Robert Mondavi winery sampling some of his wines. Richard was a joy to spend time with. He was patient and instructive, we learned a lot about wine and the Napa valley.

Most of the rooms were still not occupied and the innkeeper Sam asked us if we would like a tour of the Inn. All of the rooms were awesome and we also learned quite a bit of history about the home.

The breakfasts each morning were incredible. The food was delicious and the presentation of each plate was beautiful. This is by far the best breakfast we have ever had anywhere, not just the best B&B breakfast but the best ANYWHERE! The banana pancakes with caramel sauce were delicious.

Sam and his staff pay attention to every detail. Anything you might need from dinner reservations to recomendations on which wineries to see all you have to do is ask. The rooms are beautiful. The hug jetted tubs are great and the bathroom was very spacious. We were in the Garden View room, we had a patio overlooking the pool. Although the weather was cold and rainy this weekend we did not care, just gave us more time to spend in the room. The bed is one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in and we both got a great nights sleep both nights.

The location is just off of Highway 29 and is very easy to find. It is a very easy drive up 29 to all of the wineries. We even went over to the Sonoma Valley and that was less than 30 minutes from the Inn.

I would not ever consider staying anywhere else in Napa.

We had a wonderful stay at the Candelight Inn B & B and the entire staff were top notch. The room was an absolute dream and made our 13th anniversary a truly memorable experience. The breakfast was to-die-for. We felt very pampered. There was staff available when we needed them and privacy when it was desired. We definitely put the Candlelight Inn on our 'places to go back to' and highly recommend you to all our family and friends.

My wife and I stayed for 3 days as a getaway after a hectic fall. The Candlelight was a wonderful place to just relax, have some privacy, enjoy some good restaurants, and visit some wineries. A very good experience for us.

This was a return stay for us & we were not disappointed. It is clean, quite and Sam & Scott certainly gave us the best service. We needed a break from a hectic schedule & to get it in the Napa Valley was so much easier & less expensive than a trip to Italy. We were only less than an hour from home but seemed like we were in another world. We will go back again.
