“A Lovely Stay Overall”
Reviewed 16 March 2013

Arrived for 2 nights for a romantic retreat and I had my heart set on a really nice room. Realized upon checking in that we were placed in an accessible room (4 handle bars in the bath, lower peep hole in the door, etc.), so we called downstairs and requested to be changed. We were sent to a room right over the terrace, which was already occupied by many revelers--we were afraid we'd have a noisy night, plus there was no privacy because there were windows and terraces all around looking in. We went downstairs and spoke to Ben at the front desk who graciously handled the situation--he found a more private room for us on the 5th floor which was actually an upgrade. The rest of our stay was lovely, though I was a bit upset because I mistakenly left a phone charger in the second room and felt the front desk did not seriously look for it. Guess that's the price you pay for being picky!

Room Tip: Request a higher floor away from the terrace in the back.

We had a birthday celebration in the wine country and decided to stay overnight in a hotel since we might be drinking too much for the drive home. The moment we walked in the staff greet you in the lobby, take you to a comfortable sofa and offered 1/2 a glass of wine for you to relax before checking you in- takes only 3 minutes. He took us up to our room and showed us all the amenities-all the non alcohol drinks and snacks are free. What a treat. It was a suite too. Parking is free in the city parking lot. This is a Hyatt property. Will definitely return!

My husband and I visited this hotel over President's weekend. Everything about it was perfect for us. We received an upgraded room because of my platinum status, and it was huge, clean, and well appointed. The shower was amazing! The hotel has a great vibe, is in easy walking distance to a ton a restaurants (which is definitely needed after a day of wine tasting!), and free parking. The only things lacking are a view (which isn't that big of a deal because you've probably spent the day in the vineyards and don't need to constantly look at them) and a hot tub or pool. The terrace is a great place to spend the afternoon relaxing.

This is our new go to hotel in Napa!

This warm and rustic hotel made us think of many of the ski chalets in Whistler BC. It is upscale, fun, and has great attention to service whether you are coming or going. We felt welcome and comfortable in any part of the hotel. We particularly liked the fireplace in the room and the outdoor ambience of a fitpit with lounge chairs surrounding it.

The rooms and facilities were lovely - albeit the bathroom floors were cold to our barefeet. The location of course was ideal for walking through town to shop, taste wine or have a great meal with or without entertainment. A great base for wine exploration. Well worth the stop.

Room Tip: Sign up for the "low cost upgrage" on standby - we did that. No guarantee until you arriv...

Just stayed for 2 nights. Great location downtown in Napa. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Booked a standard room and got upgraded to a one bedroom suite. Great shower and bath. Wine tasting in the lobby. Wish I could have stayed for a week!

I took my husband to Napa for his birthday (March 8-11) weekend and we had a fabulous time at Andaz! the staff was incredibly friendly, greeting us with a glass of wine and always ready to offer help and advice as needed (wine tours, restaurants). Not to be missed is the second floor terrace with two fire pits and the 5pm wine tasting. There is no fitness center or pool on the premises but you get privileges at a full on gym next door (Exertec: http://exertec.com). We were within walking distance of pretty much everything. Oh, and self parking is free! We can't wait to come back for another stay. We upgraded to an Andaz loft, which gave us a suite and a nice view of downtown. It's not the cheapest place (our room was $274/night) but I think it was worth the price!

We chose this hotel for the location because we thought it would be fun to stay downtown. It was a perfect location to head to the wineries during the day and then walk to the local restaurants and across the bridge to the Oxbow. We were kindly upgraded to a terrace room which was beautiful and spacious. The room was well kept, had interesting design, and was clean. The open terrace was a great spot to enjoy a glass of wine and they also offer al fresco dining. The staff at the front desk were very nice, on the phone and in person. We have booked a second trip to Napa and are staying at the same hotel.
