Owner description: Since 1922 the Bartolucci Family has consistently created a perfect marriage of grapes and wine at Madonna Estate. Located in the world-renowned Carneros region, an area known for its fertile lands and cool climate, the Bartolucci family has found success with their organically grown grapes and Estate Bottled wines. In addition to practicing natural farming methods, they also combine traditional and modern winemaking techniques. As the third oldest winemaking family in the Napa Valley, it is important to them that they continue the commitment to farm naturally and preserve the winemaking traditions of past generations.

Nothing against Madonna Estate but I wouldn't recommend them, they have some of the worst wine I've tasted in Napa yet. Upon arriving the tasting room was empty and nobody behind the bar even gave a friendly hello. Once they gave us some attention the wines were poured and there wasn't one that I found even palatable.
The best part of the tasting was the free glass that is actually quite nice and worth the 10 dollars.

This quaint winery is a family run business. My wife and I were given a personal tour by one of the owners. From "hello" you could hear the pride he took in his business. Everything is done to produce Green Friendly high quality wines. When the Owner took his daughter into the business, he produced a special wine to honor the occasion. We felt honored that we were given a chance to sample this exceptional wine.

We bought a wonderful bottle of wine and transported it home to Israel. Nothing beats the family touch .

Until we arrived at Madonna, the day had been less than wonderful. Everything changed when we walked in the door. Thanks to Doug and Buck for making our day wonderful. We're looking forward to enjoying the wine.

I came here on an Extranomical tour and absolutely enjoyed the wine. It's a smaller winery and doesn't have much of an area to explore or at least we weren't offered an area. However, the wine was good and at a fair price. They also had the largest/best wine tasting out of all of them. I definitely would recommend this if you're going wine shopping.

We went here on a wine tour and the staff was very informative during the tour. We tasted the wines and had lunch outside. We would have liked to have had a glass during lunch but they don't allow that. We did buy a bottle of the cabernet to take home. Not the most beautiful tasting room but it has history.

Beautiful winery and tasting room. Great wine and friendly staff. Close to downtown Napa and easy to get to. Only $5 for a tasting and some really good wines.
