The Inn on Randolph is a wonderful example of why you choose to stay at a B&B -- personalized attention in an environment that feels like home -- only with better style and food. The staff (and Karen) were amazing -- guiding us through our first trip to Napa with excellent suggestions for dining, wine tasting, and hiking/walking the area. The attention to detail makes the difference here including clear emails and instructions related to booking and area attractions, filtered water in the room, black towels for make-up removal, heated bathroom floors, all the things you need to make a perfect cup of coffee/tea in your room, but an even better option of having one in the main house with your new friends. Our cottage (the Randolph Cottage) was spacious and spotless, the bed was comfortable, the gas logs delightful, and the breakfast was fresh, healthy and amazing. The location made it easy to walk downtown. I recommend this B&B for adults looking for a sophisticated, quiet weekend. If you are looking for a place to party all night and make lots of noise -- there are many other better options. Please don't choose this intimate, peaceful, sophisticated delightful place!

Room Tip: The Randolph Cottage was lovely. Large and well-appointed. You share a wall with another cottage...

This was our second trip to Napa. We stayed at the Inn in September, 2013 and loved Napa and the Inn so much we chose to return. The service is still top notch and the Inn is still pristine. I didn't think it would be possible to improve on perfection, but Karen proved me wrong. We stayed in the Randolph Cottage during both visits and were delighted to see the Cottage now houses a King bed and spa tub. Delightful! The breakfasts were out of this world - if only I were able to cook that well. Sigh... Another perfect vacation. Thanks, Karen and team. Three times a charm. We'll be back. :)

This isn't just the best B&B in Napa, it's the best B&B I've ever stayed at (and I've been to many in different countries). Rooms are clean/spacious/quiet, breakfasts are prepared by local chefs and straight out of the garden, and Karen is extremely helpful with anything we want or need. She goes above and beyond to make sure our entire experience is the best it could be. The location is perfect to explore the Napa riverfront via walking and the valley via car. I really don't want to leave....ever. Hope I get to return some day...and will definitely tell all friends and family that they must stay here.

Everything about the Inn was luxurious and made for the perfect getaway weekend. Breakfasts were gluten-free (a must) and always extremely creative, with flavor combinations I don't even pack into a dinner, much less breakfast. Cottages have their own private entrances with outdoor seating, which makes it very cozy. They include a mini-fridge and microwave in case you have delicious leftovers, and are extremely spacious (we are New Yorkers and it was as large as a good studio apartment).

The staff was delightful, helpful and very accommodating. Not only did they make top-notch recommendations, they also made reservations for us on several tours and at some excellent restaurants. It truly was a vacation from everything, even planning!

Location was fantastic. We flew to San Francisco and rented a car, but didn't have to use it once we were at the Inn. There are so many things within walking distance, it made the trip more pleasant that we didn't have to stress about driving directions.

As for value, our stay was absolutely splurge-worthy. Not for the faint-of-pocketbook, I found the prices to be relatively high but worth every last penny.

Room Tip: Stand-alone cottages would maximize sleep quality. The Inn has noise rules (no Jacuzzi after 10pm I...

This is a wonderland B and B! The Inn keeper has a passion for helping her guest maneuver Napa. She begins helping you even before you arrive by recommending tours and making apts for winery tours etc. The Inn is lovely, extremely clean and breakfast is fabulous. We are vegan and they made us the best vegan breakfast of. Napa. The chef was so kind!! You won't go wrong here. We stayed in the Hannah Moore room as the cottages were booked. We loved it. It was conveniently located. We will return

Room Tip: Stay in the Hannah Moore room. Very convenient.

Returned from a 3 day stay at the Inn on Randolph in late May. The property is located in a quiet residential section of the town of Napa, but easy walking distance to Downtown and the Oxbow Public Market.
We stayed in the Fowler Cottage, which was just wonderful. It's right next to the main house and shares a common courtyard, which was great for lounging with a glass of wine after a day of touring. The cottage itself is spacious and has a fabulous bathroom/shower area. It is well-appointed with a minifridge, coffeemaker, wet bar area. Flawless wifi was available throughout the property.
Breakfasts were expertly cooked and managed to be both delicious and not too heavy, a great start to each of our days. The sheets were so great that we ended up buying a set for home.
This will remain our first choice for accomodations in Napa Valley.

I was searching for a B&B in Napa for the weekend getaway and found this gem based on tripadvisor's review. A few places I checked require minimum 2 or 3 nts stay during long weekend, however, Inn on Randolph gladly took my one night reservation. Before we arrived, I checked a few restaurant and winery options with Karen, the inn owner and she always responded quickly with details. Upon checkin, inn staff, Stacey gave us a quick orientation and marked the map for us. I told her the room looks better than the online pictures. Everything was neat and thoughtfully done. The linen was so comfortable that I want to get a set for my home as well. Breakfast was delightful on the light side; perfect for us before a late morning foodie tour. We will definitely return!

We are always thrilled to help our guests plan dinner reservations, winery tours and tastings. With over 450 wineries in Napa and so many wonderful restaurants we know how overwhelming it can be to choose. The staff and I spend a lot of time researching the valley to find the best for our guests. Thanks so much for staying with us - hope to see you back soon!

Karen
