Charming Bed and Breakfast in Napa! Comfortable beds, spacious suites. Knowledgeable, professional, wonderful staff. Every person working at the Inn was welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious. Wine tasting at the Inn was a great way to meet some of the other guests of the Inn. Location near downtown Napa, within walking distance to great restaurants. Would recommend this Inn to anyone visiting the Napa area.

Breakfast was excellent each morning with a real gormet feel. Earliest time was 8:30am for breakfast- wish there was an earlier time. Room was nice- I stayed in the main house upstairs. Private with plenty of space and ementies. Biggest two complaints from my wife and I and the other gorups were- 1) very low water pressure in the showers and 2) not enough privacy in the bathrrom in your own room becase the doors were folding closet doors. Employees were nice and the location was perfect for a nice walk to town for dinner and back. If a good shower is important to you- this is not the place to stay. Otherwise, it was a good experience.

Room Tip: stay in the main house as the air there is central vs window units in the back cottages.

Hello Aaron H,

We are so glad that you and your friends were able to join us and enjoyed so many of our amenities. As it was your first trip to our wine country I hope that the extensive itinerary that we helped coordinate showcased all that it has to offer.

If a good, strong shower is important to you I'm afraid there aren't many options in the state that will be suitable as we are all required to use "low flow" fixtures. However, we are constantly striving to provide the best experience possible for our guests so we are looking into some new shower heads that are not supposed to feel low flow. We hope that you, and your friends, will give us another chance next time you are in the area to experience the enhancements we are making.

Take care,
Kali & The Staff at 1801

PS - I should note that some rooms in the manor house do have wall units Please request an upstairs suite if central air is a requirement for you to have a comfortable stay.

My husband and i stayed at this lovely B and B for 2 nights we enjoyed every moment of our stay.
Kali checked us in and welcomed us with a glass of white and red wine for my husband. We had theAlsace Amore suite which was luxurious in every way. Breakfast was very good and on our first morning Kerry the owner served us. on the second breakfast Felice served us. the ladies are all very warm and welcoming. They go out of their way to make sure their guests are well looked after.
The welcome truffles were just so amazing in flavor. The location of the B and B is so ideal. We walked toward the river where there are so many good restaurants in the area. parking is ample and we would stsy here again if we take a trip to Napa again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights. It was amazing! Upon arrival, we were offered wine. There are three yummy truffles in your room!

We stayed in the "junior suite" upstairs, and it was extremely nice. Two chairs in the room with a footrest, fireplace, skylight, soaking tub (for two), shower, huge TV (we hardly used- go out and explore!!) and a big, nice comfy bed!! The Inn itself is in this super cute Victorian style home, with a sitting room, dining room and courtyard.

Breakfast every morning was incredible, and they offer different selections every day... all were amazing. There is always cookies and tea available downstairs.

During "happy hour", we sat outside in the courtyard in the back and noticed they had tomato plants, orange tree. One morning for breakfast they served fresh persimmons from their tree!

Kali and the owner were both so friendly and helpful to make our trip to Napa the best one we could have had! They recommended places for us to go for drinks and dinner. All of which were amazing!

The downtown area was walking distance to tons of great restaurants, bars and little shops.
(there is an outlet mall not too far away either!! but you'll want to drive)

Wineries are not to far of a drive away and they will give you some passes 2-for-1 and complimentary upgrade to a few places.

If you are looking for a gym, they offer $10 passes to a gym right down the street (walking distance.)

Overall amazing place, with excellent customer service... providing an experience of a lifetime for your trip! They really go above and beyond to make sure you have the best time. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice, quiet getaway!

Hi C c,

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a thorough review! We all work hard to make sure we are offering our guests as many personal touches as we can and I'm so glad you were able to enjoy nearly all of them.

It was such a treat to meet you both and I definitely know who I will be looking to when I need some ski lessons this winter! :)

Until next time,

1st trip to beautiful wine country and checking in to 1801 was a great way to start the trip. The owners were so friendly, knowledgable and happy to help make recommendations or reservations. We stayed in the main house in a nice sized room and great bathroom. Breakfast every morning was delicious and the happy hour after coming back from visiting the vineyards was a great way to end the day and discuss with the other guests.

Definitely recommend renting a car as the Inn is in Napa and is a short drive to the great restaurants in Yountville.

Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Although we stayed right in room 2 (outside of the check-in, front door and breakfast area) we found...

1801 was a very cute and clean bed and breakfast in downtown Napa. My husband and I stayed in the main builing and my sister-in-law and her husband stayed in the cottage. Both were great. The inn is close to downtown restaurants but about 15-20 minutes from the heart of Napa. The happy hour they do every night is fun. Also their chocolate chip cookies they place out every day are delicious! We didn't get a chance to have the breakfast since we had to leave for a balloon ride at 6:30am one day and for our flight the next but I'm sure it was great. Definitely a very cute, quaint place to stay. It's a nice change from your chain hotels. I would recommend!

My husband and I stayed the third week of Sept. for four nights. We couldn't have been more
pleased with our large room. It had a King bed, flat screen TV, two large chairs, a walk-in closet. Bathroom had tub and shower. Everything spotless. Excellent breakfast. A few blocks walk brings you downtown. We mostly dealt with Felice, she like everyone else, was anxious to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

Room Tip: Our room,#2,was I believe the largest. A couple we met had the cottage at the rear of the property...
