This was our first stay. Magical. All we were looking for was a quiet and comfortable place to stay while visiting Napa. What we found was a true romantic oasis. Secluded grounds, lovely rooms, and a turn down service you will never forget (you have to go to learn more....). The service was exceptional. Be sure to divulge your daily plans to the concierge, she was amazing at providing passes and other amenities relating to our itinerary.

My husband surprised me with this stay for our 20th anniversary. It met and exceeded any expectations we had. The room was gorgeous. The view was beautiful. Each night, upon our return from dinner, we found our room with lit tea-lights, sheets turned down, and lights dimmed. Very romantic! Breakfast was very good, served in the room and on time. We WILL stay here again if we have another opportunity to get away to Napa.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The place is beautiful, the room gorgeous although not inexpensive. The service was spectacular. Everyone was gracious, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful and the evening wine tasting and cheese the perfect end to the day. The concierge was outstanding - great recommendations, directions, reservations services and every recommendation of restaurant, winery and even hot air balloon trip was spot on. Overall a wonderful weekend and we can't wait to go back.

My husband and I spent the night at Milliken Creek Inn & Spa in Napa for our anniversary and it was PERFECT. The staff was not only amazing, but our room was beautiful. The decor is tastefully done with a mix of modern and "Pottery Barn". We walked into soft music playing on the BOSE music system and it was like entering a sanctuary! The deep soaking jetted tub was wonderful...the stocked wet bar with complimentary VOSS WATER and soda was great and so convenient. The plush robes, exquisite toiletries, and delicous breakfast the following morning just added to the experience (I suggest the Belgian waffle...so good!). The King bed had top of the line linens and was comfortable and clean. The room also had a relaxing fireplace, sitting area, flat screen TV loaded with channels, huge shower, plush towels, closet space, and french doors leading onto the patio surrounded by gardens and fountain (relaxing). The main lobby itself is beautiful and so warm and inviting. Between the wood floors, staircase, fireplace, and amazing decor, the staff greeted us immediately...wished us a Happy Anniversary and were ready to make our stay special from the second we walked in. There was free wine and cheese in the main lobby in the evening which we would have loved to have attended but we were still out at dinner but I hope we can enjoy that next time! They have an on site spa that is equally gorgeous. The grounds are also meticulously maintained and even the gardening staff were outgoing and friendly! We loved everything about Milliken Creek Inn and plan to stay there as often as we can whenever visiting Napa again. If the price does not fit your budget (I understand...we have a large family), then try to find which times they offer specials and packages.

This was our first trip to this location. We will return for another romantic escape. Great touches with the turn down service. Minuses are road noise on occasion and lower room we were in was susceptible to noise from the room above..enough sothat next time we will ask for a room above

My wife and I visit the Napa Valley four-five times per year, and we have continually stayed at the Milliken Creek Inn on our visits. We have stayed at other high end hotels in the valley and Yountville. And though those are very nice with some definite "pros", none of them give us the sense of home that the Milliken Creek Inn does. The staff is above and beyond in terms of friendliness, service, and assistance. Aside from "doing their job" they genuinely add to the positive experience with their pleseant demeanor.

The rooms are well appointed and the atmosphere is very quiet. We have stayed upstairs and downstairs in both buildings, and never had an issue with noise from the street or adjacent rooms. I'm sure much of this is due to their efforts, but also all of our encounters have been with very nice, respectful guests. I support all of the positive reviews regarding their magic hour, breakfast, coffee, turndown service, free Voss waters and sodas, etc. The breakfast is especially wonderful and we have met many great people at the happy hour (both winery pourers and other guests).

I don't discount that the pricing can be high for many (though it is defitely comparable to other Napa Valley hotels). When guests come with us, we appreciate the pricing and don't force them to stay here with us. However, all of them have stayed here and they agree that they will not stay anywhere else when they return. In fact, they point to the hotel over wineries, restaurants, etc. as the primary reason they want to return.

Location: we love the location of the Milliken Creek Inn. Within a couple of minutes of the hotel, we are travlleing on the picturesque Silverado Trail. It is SO convenient. It should be noted, the surrounding area is not as picturesque as the property. However, it is by no means a "bad" area or unsafe by any stretch of the imagination. What they have done is create an atmosphere when you drive into their property, you feel completely isolated from the surroundings.

Obviously I am a huge fan of the Milliken Creek Inn. Trying to be as unbiased as I can possibly be, I still give it my highest recommendations and look forward to our upcoming trips in the future.

When my fiancé and I decided to get married in Napa over Valentine's Day weekend, we started reading reviews. One of the places that kept coming up with consistently good reviews was Milliken Creek. We booked both our stay and wedding on only 2.5 weeks notice, and the staff was pleasantly accommodating on short notice. The wedding coordinator kept in contact with my fiancé throughout that period to finalize what minor details were outstanding before our arrival. Upon arriving late in the evening at Milliken, everything was prepared for our stay, with an outline of events, all dinner reservations and directions to each place, and a breakfast menu with the selections for the complimentary breakfast we were served each morning. Upon entering our room, we were greeted with a warm, inviting suite which featured a king size bed, large soaking tub, and spacious bathroom, entryway, and kitchenette. The plantation shutters opened to a view of the Napa River. From the minute we arrived on the property, through our wedding, until check out, we could not have asked for any better treatment at Milliken. We had never been so well taken care of at a weekend getaway as we felt during this trip. The only hiccup we had throughout the whole process was our spa visit was cancelled due to the illness of one of the property's masseuses. While not Milliken's fault, they were accommodating in finding us a different spa and booking our visit there at no additional charge to us. The whole stay was so lovely neither I nor my fiancé wanted to leave after 3 nights. We look forward to coming back to Milliken again in the future.
