My husband and I came here during part of our honeymoon, and it was a truly amazing experience. The inn staff was friendly and helpful, while still thoroughly respecting our space and privacy. The room and grounds were gorgeous, breakfast was incredible, and the atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. The provided shampoos, lotions, etc. were also quite nice, and the afternoon wine tasting was a pleasure. We'd never felt so special. This is what every bed & breakfast should aspire to be.

We had a mother-daughter trip here and loved everything about the place.

It's right in Napa but on a side street. The grounds are gorgeous and we were able to have breakfast on the deck every morning. The rooms are quite big and they have interesting choices for their wet and dry bar.
We (four of us) had spa treatments one day which we would all recommend.

All in all, a great place to stay when you are visiting Napa.

We decided to stay at the Inn back in January for a 4 night stay and were very pleased with the description, reviews, & photos. The property is quite beautiful but the rooms are underwhelming. I was in room #1 in the main house above the kitchen where the breakfasts are cooked. In the morning you can hear pots & pans and then the aroma of bacon (which definately woke me up not a bad thing though). we we awakened in the early morning hours by the sound of running water. I was told it was a couple above our room that had a machine that ran water . it was discovered when the nightly turn down service was done and they were told to cease using it. While this was not their fault (if its true) something should have been done after the first night to figure it out. The breakfast was not so great, the bacon was very hard and the eggs were just average. A service charge being tacked on to the bill was surprising I never encountered this from a $400 a night room. Shouldn't service be included in a room of this presumed caliber? I had a good massage but my finace had one that was not so great. Caviat Emptor - let the buyer beware don't let fancy photos and reviews give you a false impression its a room worth $200 -250/night

Room Tip: Don't get room #1!

Thank you for your time in providing us with your valued insight on your stay. Please accept our apologies for failing to exceed your expectations with an impressive experience. . It is extremely disappointing for us to receive your review and comments, as this is not the typical experience. We certainly appreciated the opportunity to rectify the situation while you were here by giving you a monetary credit, as well as an upgrade into a deluxe room. I'm afraid a short review here cannot even begin to give you an idea of how excellent this place is. The best way I can articulate it is that I've travelled all over the globe and stayed in countless hotels and this is by far my favourite.
Everything about the place from the amazing rooms to the plush grounds and the outstanding service just screams luxury and relaxation!
The rooms are opulent yet tasteful with ridiculously comfortable beds, huge TV's, and super huge spa bath tubs. Our room had a lovely decking area over looking the creek.
The grounds are plush, green and immaculately kept and have a sort of secret garden vibe to them.
The complimentary wine and cheese hour at 6 is a great little touch and gives you a nice opportunity to chat to other guests and unwind after a long days sightseeing. We met some really interesting people. This place is full of little 'extra touches' like that, that really set it apart from normal hotels.
The service is outstanding. Professional and super helpful without being over bearing. The concierge helped us secure dinner reservations and plan activities and the front desk staff were also excellent and very accommodating.
In summary, yes this place is expensive but this is one of those instances where you really do get what you pay for. Everything about Milliken Creek is phenomenal.

This was our 3rd trip to wine country. We decided to stay in Napa instead of Sonoma, as we had in the past. I found the Milliken Creek Inn on Trip Advisor. We stayed 3 nights, and it was awesome! Our room was on the 2nd floor of the main house. The bedroom was beautifully appointed with an amazingly comfortable bed! We had a large deck overlooking the Napa River. Every morning breakfast is brought to you in your room. And, at 6PM every evening, there is a wine tasting in the living room. Each night a different winery does a presentation. The concierges were very friendly and knowledgable! They set up our dinner reservations and winery visits. I can't wait to return!

I'm a little reluctant to share my thoughts for fear that it will be booked the next time i go back!.

Aside from the overall beauty of the property and room, it was the attention to the little things that added up to be big things that put this property over the top. Candles at turndown, large selection of DVD's, a fabulous breakfast served at any of the quaint little areas on the property, friendly and helpful staff ...

Two regrets though -- they couldn't do anything about the cool weather (I was there in early April) and I couldn't stay at the Milliken more than one night!
