the is a beautiful hotel. this hotel has everything from fine dining, vineyards are a bike ride away, great gym, beautiful pool for both kids and adults. The rooms are awesome too! The rooms are like the most luxurious cottage you'll ever stay in, the indoor and outdoor showers are great too. you can also make a fire pit and make s'mores in the evening. also when you check in they greet you with champagne.

11/12/16 - Stayed here for the fifth time but this is our first review. If you have not toured the grounds or looked at the quality of the rooms you should give it a look. The location is not in the middle of the craziness of Napa or the towns north which makes it nice. It is a very different type of resort due to the location and the grounds.

Pros :
- The rooms - they are all individual cottages so you have privacy and outdoor seating areas that are high walled so complete seclusion.
- The food - amazing for the hotel and probably one of the best breakfasts on property at Boon Fly Cafe.
- The upper Adults pool - the views are amazing and the location is very quiet - could not be a better way to get away. You may not want to go visit the wineries if you lay out at the pool.

Cons:
- The location is about five miles from Napa before you get into town. This puts it outside of the actual valley but you are in between Napa and Sonoma so you really cannot view this as bad. It is also a strength.
- The morning wait at Boon Fly - it is the only part of the resort that is publicly available so the waits are massive and the place is very well known. **Tip - walk over and put your name in and go back to your room or go grab a workout - it will be about an hour wait on weekends. It is totally worth the wait given the quality of the food and the amazing bloody mary's but you need a plan to make sure you don't have to deal with the wait.

This was my first time to the area and it was an award for a sales contest. I was blown away by how romantic it was with individual cottages, the food was amazing, the staff beyond helpful and I had probably the best massage of my life at the spa!! If you want to truly get away from it all, this it the place to go!!

OMG!!! Boon cafe?! Chiliques are out of this world. The donughts are out of this stratosphere!! The harbor top has views that rival their menu. The farm is next on our list..... will let you know. Great time of year to visit. Great weather & no crowds.

This is a great hotel but it's so overpriced it's silly. We had a nice room (they are all little cottages) but it wasn't that great (and so few drawers we had to leave our bags out in the middle of the room). I was not impressed with the food. You get to Napa and you have very high expectations and it did not measure up...i would not eat there. This is all about relative pricing. If it was $600-$800 a night (which is pricy under normal circumstances), then i would say great. But for $2000+. save your money
