The location is Very convenient to Napa. Lovely setting of ponds, fountains, swans, flowers and trees in the courtyard and the lobby is really cozy. Friendly staff are excellent resource for places to go and wineries to visit.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel on a Sat evening and were happy with the cleanliness and size of the rooms. Included in our stay was a free "managers reception" from 5.30-7.30pm and breakfast starting at 7am. We were very happy with the stay but were disappointed that WIFI was an additional cost. At $400/night on a Sat I feel that should be included in the cost of the hotel.

Overall. Nice hotel, easy access from the highway, nice rooms, happy hour and breakfast included. They need to reconsider WIFI.

This hotel does not heat its room during winter to save operating costs. All air conditioning and heating systems are turned off, even when expected outside temperature is 43 degrees F. Result is guests freeze to death. Inquire before booking if heating/air conditioning is turned on!!

We went to the Marriott Hotel and Spa to check on our balloon ride booking as this is the hotel that the ride leaves from. Laura from this hotels concierge made us feel welcome and made us wish we had stayed at the Marriott! We had never been to Napa Valley and chose the Embassy Suites based on location more than anything, and because we are a Hilton member. The night we arrived they were resurfacing the deck on the level we were staying. We hauled our luggage up the elevator and found we couldnt get to our room. Went back down to front desk and the gentleman wasnt aware of problem. He didnt appologize for inconvenience nor did he offer to help us get to our room. We had to figure our way out from the courtyard and his poor instructions. Breakfast was confusing the first morning. You have this voucher but no one seems to care that you have one or not. Staff in restaurant isnt helpful or friendly. No one in this hotel was friendly or helpful! Not from the bellboy to the frontdesk clerk. The young lady who served us for dinner the first evening was the only person we encountered that made us feel excited about discovering Napa Valley. Wish I remembered her name but she was lovely. STAY at the Marriott Hotel and Spa if you truly want the WELCOME experience!!!

This is one of the best Embassy Suites I've used. The only problem is the floors between the rooms are wood and therefore creak very loudly when people are walking around. If you have a room on the top floor then you will LOVE this property.

Hilton brings to mind world class service, and embassy suites brings to mind luxury accommodations and service. Neither is true of this motel-like experience. The rooms are dated, but functional and comfortable enough. There are some by odd furniture set ups, that look as though the pieces were from a garage sale...but again nothing broken or uncomfortable. I found the room ventilation poor, though it was chilly outside the room always felt warm and stuffy, even after I turned on the AC. Amenities are as expected, ample tv, coffee, ironing set up, plenty of towels and bath items, wifi internet (though coverage was a bit spotty).

The hotel grounds and common areas are nicely done, and the breakfast service and food is the best thing going here. Really they do a great job.

Service at front desk was pretty poor. We arrived as a group of 29 for a three day stay, after a flight from China, and the hotel was unprepared to receive us, many didn't get into a room until after 4pm, which is absurd. More than that the guest service person on duty, a young man, quickly became stressed with a couple dozen Chinese nationals and made a few rude and potentially racist comments. To their credit, the staff behind the desk sent him away before things got worse, but still, with a name like embassy one would expect diplomacy to be a key service standard.
