I couldn't recommend the Napa River Inn more highly. We were visiting our family from the east coast and my husband and I spent a night at the Napa River Inn while our children were staying with their Grandparents nearby. We had booked a deluxe room but requested the $29 option for an upgrade to the Captain Hatt Suite if it was available. Lucky enough it was and the suite was incredible. We were talking to one of the staff as they were taking us to our room and we mentioned in passing that it was our wedding anniversary 2 weeks before. Shortly after we arrived in our room, a bottle of wine and a lovely handwritten note was delivered to our room saying happy anniversary. The hotel is extremely close to many great Napa restaurants and is on the water. When we went to leave we tried to order a taxi but instead we were taken to my in laws by a complementary Napa River Car. Highly recommend!

This place is awesome. Can walk to great shops and restaurants. Very clean, breakfast was great. Only complaint is at 9am on our last morning we awoke to construction being done on the room next to ours. It sounded like someone was banging on the wall over and over. Upon calling the front desk I was told that they were sorry but they needed to get the work done. We packed up and left before noon checkout. Very inconsiderate.

I really enjoyed my overnight stay here. The room was very nicely decorated, the bed was comfortable and there was a good chair for reading by the window. I especially enjoyed the "breakfast in bed" and Keurig coffee in the room, the "fireplace" that provided atmosphere and heat in the room and free wifi. There are plenty of nice restaurants nearby, a pleasant walk along the river and historic downtown Napa is only a few blocks away. I don't know whether or not there is a pool or spa.

Room Tip: My room was a "standard" so no view of the river, but I think ti would be especially nice...

Stayed at the Napa River Inn for a week to celebrate the wifes 40th birthday.......the place was fantastic.....we had one of the superior rooms, great view of the Napa River from our balcony, the bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in at any hotel in our lives......and the breakfast every morning from sweetie pies was awesome!!! The Inn is located at the end of Main street, so no traffic noise at all, and was within walking distance of a number of great restaurants and wine shops........We will stay there again whenever we return to Napa.....

Room Tip: go with a superior room, especially if your there in the fall or winter, they have fireplaces in the...

The hotel was clean, and great location. The hefty nightly rate isn't justified. It's a dog friendly hotel, but you're not allowed to have the pets alone in the room? My dogs are very well behaved and trained. Why should I pay $20/ hour for a pet sitter so I can go for dinner?

Rooms was extremely small and smelled old and musky. It's also noisy.

Included breakfast was ok, but no healthy options available on the menu.

I wouldn't stay here again.

My Brother took his wife to the hotel for a surprise 40th birthday and we had a chance to visit them in their beautiful suite that overlooked the river. Went down to the court yard and enjoyed a bottle of wine and the view. Great location and nice to have good "free" parking. Would like to stay there sometime

Recently traveled solo and due to a mix-up with another reservation, got a last minute reservation here. Although the room was not on the river side, it was a beautiful and spacious room. Breakfast was delicious and delivered to the room on time. Staff were very accomodating and I was able to check in early. Convenient to several top restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.
