This is a great inn. Everything is so close. Walk by the river every morning. Have dinner at Celadon's. Breakfast in your room or at Sweetie Pies. We spent three nights here, and I really hate to leave this morning. There is so much to do in this area. The rooms are very nice. The hotel is very quaint and historic. The staff here is so accommodating, always helpful and ready to please.

Room Tip: They do have a spa, but I wasn't able to use it.

My wife and I chose to stay at this hotel during our trip to California in celebration of our 8th wedding anniversary. The location is excellent and is within easy walking distance from many excellent restaurants and bars in the area. The accommodations were both beautiful and classic. The staff was warm and beyond helpful and did everything they could to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. A highlight was the complimentary breakfasts from Sweetie Pie's restaurant at the hotel; delicious!

I highly recommend planning your stay here and really feel like the hotel delivered on everything that was promised online. Even better was that the room rates didn't break the bank.

The location is perfect: short walking distances to restaurants, boutique shopping, wine train and leisurely strolls along the riverfront. The historic, independent hotel was more than we expected with uniquely decorated rooms (fireplace, vases, art work). The staff were hospitable, and helpful. The concierge lady planned out our winery tour by car on an agenda that met all of our wishes.

This historic hotel offers beauty, charm, convenience, and a warm and friendly staff. The check-in process was effortless and the staff graciously assisted us from the moment we pulled into the registration parking spot. Our room was spacious and offered a fantastic layout including but not limited to: a fireplace, a study, an over sized closet, a heavenly bed, and a fantastic bathroom complete with an old fashioned bathtub and double occupancy shower. The Sweetie Pies bakery located onsite is one of the best I have ever visited. The treats are heavenly and I felt compelled to purchase some for my friends back home in Florida. In addition to the bakery, restaurants, a general store and a beautiful riverfront are just steps away from the lobby. Also within walking distance there are various restaurants, shops, the hotel’s spa and a theater. The wine train is an easy walk and many wineries are just a short drive from the hotel. This quaint and charming Inn is located in the heart of Napa and their staff is eager to make your stay en enjoyable and memorable one. Whether traveling with a friend or escaping on a romantic weekend, I highly recommended the Napa River Inn.

Room Tip: I did not visit the pool or spa due to time constraints; therefore, I cannot offer an opinion.

I love historic hotels and this one was filled with character. Our room had a view of the river, fireplace, a small balcony, sitting area, desk, super comfy bed and a nice sizes bathroom. Very romantic setting! The staff was friendly and helpful. Location is wonderful, walk to restaurants, shopping, or along the river. Quick drive to all the major wineries. You order your breakfast and choose the time it is delivered. They had some gluten free options, but wish they had more, what they did offer was very tasty. We spent some time in the spa as well, not quiet at all times due to some road noise, but lovely staff and great service with really reasonable prices on services and products. We would stay again in a heart beat!

Room Tip: Celadon restaurant on site is AMAZING!! Our favorite meal of the trip. Great brunch!

From the moment we pulled up to the hotel, we knew it was going to be a wonderful stay. Overlooking the Napa River, this hotel is full of charm and comfort. From the initial greeting of the staff member at your vehicle, to the friendly staff at the registration counter, this place makes you feel welcomed and at home. The rooms are your standard size, and the bed is as comfortable as they come. Our room had it's closet set up in the bathroom, but to us, it simply added to the charm of this place. The hotel offers you complimentary breakfast, and having it bed was sweet and cozy. Absolutely recommend this hotel. Located in the very center of Napa and surrounded with lots of shops and Restaurants, you can't go wrong here. Plus, it's just a few miles away from the wineries at Yountville and St. Helena.
But, if you're interested in the wine train...? This hotel is across the street from the train station is.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is located on the napa river at the start of Main Street in downtown Napa. There are many restaurants and coffee shops very close by. There is also a general store and bakery in the same building. They have an excellent Resturant called Celadon on site. The rooms were a nice size and we upgraded to a balcony view along the river. The furnishings were excellent and room included a fireplace which was great! One terrific feature was that breakfast was included and delivered daily to our room from the bakery next door. You could chose from a limited menu and place on your door nightly for delivery in the morning.

The hotel staff was very pleasant and knowledgable about Napa history and the history of the hotel. The concierge staff was excellent with booking our wine tours.

The main reason why we state here is because they have an EV charger for our car on site. This was free to use for hotel guests!

The only downside we could think of is that the hotel doesn't offer any room service, but that wasn't that big of a deal.

Great historic hotel and we would recommend to others and stay here again.
