If you are content with paying $200-$350 a night for a basic room then you will enjoy your stay. The room is a typical hotel room with nothing else. There isn't even a mini fridge for personal use which is a must in Napa. Rooms are basic - that's the best way to describe.

Happy July and thank you for staying with us. We agree that your travel experience to the legendary Napa Valley should be more than basic, it should be extraordinary. We also agree that a refrigerator is a must in Napa, as it keeps those Sauvignon Blanc bottles properly chilled, especially in these high temperature months. Because of your feedback, our team is doing an audit of all guest rooms to ensure that they do indeed have a refrigerator in the area below the HD TV area. Apparently yours was missing and we apologize for this oversight. Thank you very much and enjoy the rest of your Summer!

Stayed here 2 nights on a whistle stop tour of Napa valley. Very well situated for upper and lower Napa valley. Typical well run 4 star Marriott , with the bonus of a nice outdoor pool and excellent concierge lounge. Good breakfast and free evening food means you can eat for free! Lovely garden to sit out in and eat breakfast in. Restaurant menu seems a bit restricted but I had oysters and champagne and my wife a burgher and fries and they were both very good.
Wine tasting at 5.30pm. Each evening was a nice touch even though we were not impressed by the wine on offer the two evenings we were there! If you like Marriott's as we do and you Elite status gives you concierge access this is a good value place to stay. Wifi is slow and evidently due to be upgraded.

Room Tip: I think they are all good Marriott rooms , ours was very quiet although it overlooked the car park.

The hotel location is great as it is right off the highway and has easy access to head north into Napa or cut across and be in Sonoma. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The only two issues we had during our stay was that the room did not get very cold at night (we were on the north side if the hotel, but there was a heat wave going on) and the concierge lounge, while nice, was definitely understaffed for the morning rush. There were a lot of people in about 830 am and they ran out if everything and did not seem to be able to catch up. If you go, I'd recommend earlier in the morning.

This is a really lovely hotel, where me and my husband spent 2 nights whilst travelling California for our honeymoon. The rooms were very nice with everything that we needed. The hotel itself is large with lots of facilities, however as we were only in Napa for 1 full day and had booked to go on the wine train we did not explore the majority of these.

The hotel provides free wifi, however you do have the option to upgrade to faster connection for $4.95 if you wish. We did not take this option but found on our bill on the last day that we had been charged for it for both the days we were there. The receptionist took this straight off for us when we queried it so no drama but just one to watch.

On the day we arrived we had been travelling for some time and so decided to relax by the pool. The pool area was also clean.

The one off putting thing about this hotel was that while we were there, there were big corporate events taking place which seemed to take over a bit. In particular while we were relaxing around the pool a large group came out to the bar area by the pool and were doing some form of a quiz loudly over microphones.

This was the reason for this hotel getting a '4' rather than a '5' from me.

My daughter and I spent two nights at this hotel while touring wineries in Napa Valley. The location is great--right off of Route 29. The staff was friendly and professional. Our only restaurant experience was room service while watching the Chicago Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup. The food was very good. The only drawbacks: limited parking near the hotel lobby and a round-about way to get to our room. It appears this hotel has been added on during the years. Nevertheless, it was a very nice hotel and served our needs in every way. The concierge was very helpful with restaurant directions, too.
