The moment we arrived, we felt welcome. The owners including their daughter welcomed us and answered our every question. Warm home made cookies were just emerging from the oven as we unpacked in our charming room off the lobby. The lobby is like a big living room with many seating arrangements, a huge marble fireplace, and a patio with more seating. The hot tub beckons as does the Jacuzzi tub in the room. We had plenty of room and thoroughly enjoyed mingling with other guests over the sumptuous breakfast--made to order Belgian waffles, yogurt and fruit parfaits, oatmeal with every topping you can imagine, fresh fruit that really tastes good too, coffee, juice, and of course toast. There are only 22 rooms so if you hesitate, you might miss out. I'm so glad I trusted the Tripadvisor reviews and booked here.

Room Tip: We enjoyed being on the ground floor although there is an elevator. Also, we liked being in the mai...

We stayed at Elm House Inn for one night on a anniversary getaway. Friendly staff without being intrusive, prompt service, lovely, serene garden to sit and relax in, immaculate! The breakfast was yummy and plentiful with all of the little touches of fresh flowers and pretty place settings. Very nice. We will recommend to others and return!!

We stayed at this hotel during our honeymoon road trip last month. We were very impressed with the service during our stay. The front desk staff was so friendly and helpful with any question we asked. The breakfast was delicious, and the hot tub was so relaxing to retreat to after our winery bike tour.

The hotel is fairly well-located, within walking distance of downtown. It is a little close to a noisy road, but we slept soundly through the night despite having our window open. I highly recommend staying here!

Elm House was an excellent base from which to visit the Napa Valley and surrounding area. We were a group of six and we could not have asked for anything more---comfortable very up-to-date rooms---immaculate in every detail, outstanding breakfast with cooked-to-order waffles, quiet patio and hot tub, laundry facilities, central location near Silverado Trail but very quiet, of-street parking, and congenial hosts---Tom and Connie Kearns, who were happy to share their knowledge of the area--directions, restaurants, picnic spots, discount coupons, and the best wineries for visiting and tasting. And all of this at very affordable rates. Truly a wonderful experience.

My husband and I had a delightful two night (wish it could have been longer) stay at the Elm House and enjoyed every minute. We had a large king room in the new building, with a second vanity area. The bed and bedding were very comfortable as were the two easy chairs. Staff at check-in and at breakfast were very welcoming and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean. Just a note to those with any mobility issues. The second floor rooms in the new building are accessed by stairs. If you have a problem carrying your luggage up stairs ask for a unit on the first floor or in the original inn when you reserve. Delightful small garden areas and fountain near hot tub. We would definitely stay here again.

This is my second time staying here and it was an enjoyable experience again. My wife and I were promptly checked in and were escorted to our king size suite. Our room was large, yet cozy at the same time. My favorite part of the room, though strange at first, was the sink and counter inside the closet. This turned out to be very convenient. The bed was also very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent the following morning, thanks to the homemade waffle. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, with a top quality staff.

Ran more like a boutique hotel than a Best Western I highly recommend this hotel. The breakfasts are by far the best I have eaten at any Best Western at which I have stayed. The owner and his staff work very hard to make their guests welcome
