All the years we have been visiting the area, we never ate here until last year (when we had given up on the pointless breakfast supplied at the Narrow Gauge Inn). Husband had a hankering for pancakes this morning before we left to come home....so we drove past Denny's and returned here.
Looks the same. Hardly any body in the restaurant at all (guess Denny's is really cramping there style). What happened to all the women who worked there?
Anyway, the food was terrible. The hot water for hot tea was tepid to say the least (the lemons were fresh and it was an ok assortment of tea). The English Muffin was definitely not Thomas' English muffin and I think it was a few days old.....dry - had - and tasteless.
My husband said that he had never had "gritty" pancakes before and the sausages were very strange tasting. I looked at his scrambled eggs and they were very dry and kind of, well, brown...
