We had never been to El CID before, so we decided to take a walk on the wild side and try something new. Not such a great idea. The burritos and tacos were so, so. The chili relleno was awful. It got four bad votes from the four people in our party of six who got them. The salsa was ok, but the chips tasted like bagged from some place like Smart and Final. The server was very friendly, but the margarita tasted watered down and the wine, while there was a large variety (Chardonnay, Chablis, white zin and a couple of reds) there was only one brand available. I am not sure what it was called, but it tasted not so good. Perhaps El Sid should concentrate on Chardonnay, Pinot grigios, Pinot noir and a merlot or Zinfandel and have, maybe two wine brand choices. We will not be back.
