“Man oh Man”
Reviewed 21 May 2013

A rich and rewarding tour. When you combine the magnificent beauty of the old mansion (circa 1885) with the majestic landscaping and a SUPERB tasting experience.....it is hard to beat. Make sure you don't miss the turn going up Oakville Ridge Road (unless you like tight hill turn road rallies)!

Jacqueline Rabner did a wonderful job walking us around and through the property, wine caves and the tasting. The wine pairing with the cheese accompanied by the tasting notes was mmmm mmmm good.

A grand "old world" experience....bought the Dolce :-)

“Pretty grounds”
Reviewed 19 April 2013 via mobile

Nice car collection. Short tour of winery, cave and surrounding grounds.

The wines are exceptionally good and I don't believe over priced for Napa.

Unfortunately, the Tour Guide was a little pretentious snob and needs a refresher class in Hospitality 101.

“The best wine tour in Napa by far”
Reviewed 7 April 2013

This was the fourth wine tour we went on following Frog's Leap, Opus One and Robert Mondavi. All of those are well known and upscale, but this winery is the one that took my breath away. Lush gardens, million dollar views, a knowledgeable and classy (but not pretentious) guide, interesting history and caves, the garage full of classic, hot cars, and the wine! The tasting was so professional, paired with tiny pieces of amazing cheese, these red wine lovers even enjoyed the Chardonnay. There was a large event happening in the afternoon after our visit, so western able to meet the owner, a beautiful woman, but more importantly, they did not rush us out. Totally worth the $50 price tag, this is the must see winery in the area.

“Fantastic tour, gorgeous vineyard, outstanding wine”
Reviewed 24 February 2013

Make a reservation at least 2 months in advance if you'd like to see this vineyard. I've been all over Napa and Sonoma and this vineyard was by far the most beautiful that I have seen. I had been a big fan of the wine and ended up joining the wine club at the end of the tour. The tour and tasting is $50 so definitely not cheap but worth it if you are a wine connoisseur. The garage with the vintage cars was awesome!
