Visited this park with my husband for an outing with the dog. Maybe we were just there in the wrong season, but everything seemed dead except the cat tails surrounding the lake. We walked from Guajome Lake Rd through what seemed like a gravel pit with unmarked trails and finally found the camp ground. We were a but confused by the buildings on the property, still not sure what they are. We made our way though the camp ground, which looked a little desolate to the lake. We were a bit bummed there was no real easy access to the lake though we did see some kids fishing. The wedding arch atop the hill would be real pretty if the grass was not dead. After we passed the lake we came to the underpass. It was dirty, littered and sketchy. Not sure we will be coming back here. So much for a nice afternoon stroll in nature.
