My family and I were lucky enough to get to stay here for a week. The staff is great, anything that you need they are willing to help you. The grounds are immaculate, and the rooms are very spacious. We used our full kitchen with all the pots, pans and dishes- itwas nice to not have to lug all that with us. The pool was so clean and we enjoyed the time we spent hanging out there swimming and grilling. The train may be close, but that is also a plus if you are wanting to make use of the public transport. Being so close to the beach and hearing the waves crashing put me to sleep- that was so nice. I am really hoping that I can get there again soon.

We stayed here for 5 nights...it is on the 'wrong' side of Oceanside.I believe to stay between the pier and harbour would be better. The trains are really noisy too! That being said we enjoyed our stay. Made use of public transport (which is excellent in the area) and walked a lot.The staff is really friendly and the units large and well equiped.

I hate to review this property because I will have to compete more to rebook it. These are time-shared condos that they also rent.I stayed in #2. It was great with only two negatives that were train noise & lots of stairs if you are handicapped.

The unit was super-clean and had been redone. It had everything you need to live therein. Complete kitchen with dishes and pots & pans. Microwave, stove & dishwasher. You only need to bring food. It's large! 800 sq. feet. Shrunken living room w/a balcony. 2 TVs. Even the landscaping was beyond belief. You are ONE block away from the beach.

There are lots & lots of eating places on the Coast Hiway within walking distance. Bessies, Mary's, The 101 Cafe and Hill Street Cafe were great for breakfast. I liked the Hill Street Cafe best since it was a gallery too & was the least expensive. All were super for Breakfast.

Dawn is the manager and she is very nice & easy to deal with. She has been there a year. The other front desk ladies were helpful & kind.

I would suggest that you look at the dates on the negative reviews on this property. They were written before the new folks took over. This is a great place to stay.

Room Tip: Stay away from the train tracks if possible.

It's impossible to be near the beach in Oceanside and not be subjected to train traffic. After a night or so, you start to get used to it. The location is very close to the beach. The higher level is on the next street West. There are a couple of liquor stores/convenience markets on the opposite corner which detract from the area. The units are well maintained, functional. Free WiFi is good, but you have to re-connect almost daily. Limited selection of TV channels, but if you spend most of your time on the beach, that don't matter.
The property features daily maid service (empty garbage, and provide clean linens). Noise is the worst on Friday PM and noise subsides between 1 AM and 5 AM. We'll definitely return for another visit. The Oceanside beach and pier provide a great vacation experience.

Room Tip: Resort has 1 bedroom with sofa sleeper and two bedroom units with a sofa sleeper to accommodate 4 or 6 people. Secure garage parking on ground level.

My husband and I booked this place through resort time web site. Since the price was pretty cheap, we did not really expect much. We just wanted to spend a couple days by the ocean; however, we found that we were in for a really nice treat.

This is a small place with walls all around and nothing looks fancy. We had to get in from the garage to the front desk, which was kind of odd. We were given a room on the third floor that had a partial ocean view on the balcony. The room was spacious and very clean. The view was great. There's small pool and Jacuzzi right down stairs, where nobody was using them except us. The beach is just half block away and we spent a day enjoyed the ocean and the breeze.

The best part of our stay was that the staff there were wonderful. They were very accommodating and extremely friendly and made us feel very welcomed.

The only one little thing is that the room does not have a central heating system, but two small wall heating units in the hall way. It got a little bit cold at night. The train was a bit annoying at the beginning, but we got used to it and it did not bother us much after the first night. It did not even wake us up anymore. Other than that, the place was great. We definitely will go back to visit again.
